a. The Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) Officer shall be registered with the
Ministry of Manpower and be in-charge of all matters relating to safety
aspects of construction activities to ensure that all work activities are carried out
in compliance with the Workplace. Safety and Health and Environmental
Management Regulations

b. The Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) Officer is responsible for conducting daily site safety inspection, identifying potential hazards involved in construction activities, so as to rectify any unsafe practices with solutions. To ensure the potential hazard are eliminated or mitigated at work site before the work started. He shall work together with QPS and site supervision team RE &RTO and conduct safety briefings, witness tool box meetings before commencement of the daily work to ensure compliance with the WSH Act and Regulations, etc.

c.The Workplace Safety & Health, (WSH) Officer shall review all the risk assessments submitted by Contractor to ensure all safety measures are in place at site, check the implementation of the safety and emergency plans, incident reporting systems. He shall be actively involved in incident investigation and conduct sharing with the workers on ‘near missed’ incident where necessary. He shall ensure the Contractor submits proper documentation for the safety meeting minutes, records and reports.

d. The Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) Officer shall be engaged for the duration of the project and be based full-time on site

1. Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in Building / Civil / Structural Engineering
2. Registered as a WSH Officer (WSHO) from MOM
3. Three years and above working experience in construction industry
4. Preferably with experience in handling LTA projects

Job Description

1. Implement compliance controls, policies and procedures

• Supports the implementation of controls, compliance checks and compliance processes.
• Executes tasks according to procedures to ensure regulatory compliance across ESBSG, and escalates any issues to relevant parties where needed

2. Execute compliance-related administration

• Assists with keeping compliance processes updated and conducting research and preparation of necessary materials for standard compliance reporting.

3. Support compliance knowledge management

• Supports in training and implementation of new or changing regulations.
• Comfortable executing tasks independently and implementing guidelines in accordance with requirements and processes

Job Requirement

1. Candidate is mature with good manners.
2. To cope in fast-paced environments, and is organised and responsible.
3. As Candidate is required to be familiar with the compliance requirement of MAS, those with at least 5 years of working experience in Singapore Financial Industry (with not more than 2 FIs) will have advantage.
4. Given that we are a Taiwanese bank; knowledge of mandarin is essential in performing our task efficiently

• Make sure smooth running of the Company’s computer systems and provide technical support to users both in office and on board vessels own/operated
• Support in implementation of new info-system management software
