Role Description

The Engineering Delivery Management (EDM) role is focused on technical management of all engineering activities. They provide direction, guidance, expert advice, mentoring, support, audit, and workflow management (tasking prioritisation and resource coordination) in support of achieving project objectives and milestones in accordance with the approved schedule. The EDM will manage a multi-skilled team of system, software, integration, V&V and infrastructure engineers to provide on time delivery of services and support for systems and/or sub-systems of products, or for projects, across multiple platforms.

Responsibilities

· Provide direction, expert advice, mentoring, and workflow management (including task prioritisation and resource coordination) in support of achieving project objectives and milestones

· Lead a multi-skilled team of engineers to deliver software engineering solutions, aligning team capability to meet customer expectations

· Lead technical reviews, workshops, peer reviews and project reviews as appropriate for the program

· Prepare and lead the monthly TFR and support the WPPR

Qualifications

Essential Experience

· Solid experience of managing the development of real time distributed complex software centric solutions in a safety critical environment

· Solid experience in total life cycle of complex software development, including processes and responsibilities at each stage in the cycle

· Solid knowledge and experience in Systems Engineering lifecycle (eg. EIA632, ISO/IEC15288)

· Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to engage a wide range of stakeholders across a complex environment

· Solid eperience of leading and mentoring team of multi-skilled engineering team, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment

· Solid experience in upskilling and training new engineers

Key Accountabilities:

1. To Lead the team that handles the financial statements of OMGAP entity under the Omnicom Media Group

• Accurately updating Media Ocean and HFM (or any other ERP solution that is implemented) as and when transactions occur. This includes maintaining the processes and transactions that have been set up in relation to the subledgers
• Perform revenue analysis
• Liaising with various stakeholders to ensure that any supporting schedules / information are provided on a timely manner to meet reporting timelines
• Generating full set financial statements in accordance with the Group timelines and financial reporting standards
• Preparation of supplementary schedules to support P&L and Balance sheet numbers.

2. Assists the FC / CFO in the preparation of the Annual Budget and monthly reforecast

• Responsible for completing the submission of the forecasts and budget in HFM
• Working with stakeholders (Business Directors, Finance Team) in providing financial analysis of the variances between the different forecasts

3. Preparation of management accounts for discussion with management monthly

• Preparation of management accounts based on the Group template using data from the ERP systems
• Working with stakeholders (Business Directors, Finance team) in providing financial analysis of the variances the budget / forecast / prior year
• Identifying risk areas through the review of the financial ratios and balance sheet

4. Preparation of accurate and timely tax and audit submissions as well as being the main point of contact for all tax (GST, Corporate Tax, WHT, etc.) and statutory audit matters

• Preparation of audit schedules, draft FS as well as conversion of signed FS to full XBRL format for ACRA filing.
• Preparation of all tax supporting schedules, for annual tax return and for ITDC (Income Tax Data Collection) package.
• Monitoring tax submission calendar and working with Financial Controller to ensure that all submissions are completed on time
• Directly liaising with both internal and external auditors for completion of audit with unqualified opinion

5. Ad Hoc Projects (Operations / Systems / Internal Controls)

• From time to time, there may be additional projects / tasks that may be assigned to you based on the company’s requirements

Requirements:

• Possess a degree in Accounting/ Finance or equivalent.
• At least 7 years of relevant working experience, of which at least 2 years should be in a supervisory capacity
• At least 3-4 years prior experience in a Big 4 Accounting Firm is preferred
• Experienced in preparation of budgets, forecasts, and FP&A work
• Sound and updated understanding of accounting principles and local statutory requirements.
