The role

This role is a broad, hands on HR role with a small, highly professionalised stakeholder group. The candidate will have the opportunity to provide the full range of HR services from advisory support through to payroll delivery. The Relationship Manager (RM) is expected to achieve the annual business targets on business development, relationship management and customer profile balances based on more complex investment requirements while ensuring accurate and timely completion of the entire sales and compliance process.

The Relationship Manager is primarily responsible for achieving business targets through the following:

1. Acquisition of new high net worth customers

2. Generation of additional volume from existing customers across sales channels

3. Development and engagement of strong relationships with assigned customers

4. Delivery of excellent customer service through investment products and service offerings

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

A. Business Development

1. Achieves business targets on acquiring, on-boarding and deepening of Mass affluent customers.

1.1. Identifies and promotes a robust pipeline of prospective customers.

1.2. Sets appointments proactively and meets with customers to establish their needs & requirements.

1.3. Pursues marketing and solicitation of investible funds from existing and new accounts.

1.4. Develops proposals in accordance with the requirements of each account, in line with the client’s objective and needs relative to yield safety, liquidity and diversification.

1.5. Submits proposals and ensures follow-ups in a timely manner including preparation of call reports to apprise management of the account status.

1.6. Conducts client presentations.

1.7. Networks with customers in order to create new business contacts.

2. Liaises proactively with branch partners for referrals and cross-sell opportunities.

3. Develops and deepens relationships with assigned customers.

4. Engages support of specialists to provide technical advice to customers when necessary.

5. Analyzes trends in the market as well as customer profiles to identify potential opportunities for the organization.

B. Client Relationship Management

1. Monitors customers’ accounts and portfolios providing proactive, timely, relevant market updates and advice through regular calls and meetings, thus building long-term relationships.

2. Seeks to establish and understand customers’ real needs and expectations.

3. Executes sales and investment strategies/activities effectively.

4. Maximizes each client or branch interaction by building on customer cues to gain commitment to products, services, and solutions.

5. Builds and develops relationships with customers –e.g., accompanying them at social/lifestyle events.

6. Reviews accounts regularly to ensure the growth of the aggregate fund level.

The Opportunity

We currently have an opportunity for a Senior Group Project Manager to join our Operations – External Manufacturing team on a full time basis.

Reporting to the Group Operations Enabling Functions & Supply Chain Director Asia, Middle East and North Africa, core focus of the role is to lead and manage commercial projects of medium to high complexity, as assigned. This includes mainly:

• Allocating project management responsibility for Global and ANZ projects
• Providing leadership and training for project managers in the iLaunch process
• Overseeing project and risk management of iGate projects through the iGate + iLaunch process to deliver On Time In Full launches
• Coordinating core project teams, prioritisation and motivation to drive high performance & collaboration
• Stakeholders management and alignment at operational and leadership levels – internal and external
• Managing interactions of project managers with initiative owners and sponsors to ensure a high level of adaptability to navigate through change of scope, priority and people styles
• Identifying and driving continuous improvements in project management to increase efficiency and speed to market

Ideal candidates should possess the following qualifications, skills and personal attributes:

• 5-8 years of experience in pharmaceutical/biotech
• 5-8 years of project management experience.
• Manufacturing, PM experience required.
• Project Management Certification (or proven equivalent experience)
• Excellent problem solving skills leveraging on mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference.
• Ability to solve complex business problems and dealing with a variety of concrete variables in situations where little standardization exists.
• Ability to effectively present complex information in a simple way and respond to questions from groups of managers, team members and partners.
• Flexible, adaptable style
• Strong leadership, understand when to step in and be hands on to unblock situations and let go once action plan is clear
• Autonomous, able to seek answers and build internal and external relationships
• Team player, demonstrating high level of leadership
