Job Description

1. Read all messages pertaining to individual vessels and alert Operations, Chartering Officers, Operations Superintendents, Disbursement / Billing Coordinator and Insurance & Claims Department of matters that warrant their attention.

2. Attend to all operational related queries / issues from internal and external customers/contractors.

3. Monitor Port Movements. Update Danaos ops module, Voyage file, Voyage Manager and Position list.

4. Plan, coordinate and monitor the pre-fixture and post fixtures requirements of the time charter fixtures:-

a) Pre-fixture

Assist Operation Manager and Chartering Officers to:

• Obtain port information for voyage suitability
• Obtain port costs estimates, whenever asked by Commercial Department
• Prepare documents for new fixtures, if required by Charterers (e.g. certificates, ships’ drawings etc)

b) Post-fixtures (clean fixed)

• Review fixture recap and study Charter Party and Rider clauses.

Your key responsibilities:
