About the role

Responsibilities:

· Provides safety engineering guidance and support to other disciplines, ensuring assurance of technical safety aspects in design.

Requirements:

· An engineering degree with a Master's or Diploma in Process Safety and Risk Engineering, and experience in Technical Safety will also be considered.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Facilitate user / process owner in defining and specifying project / work scope. He is typically involved in the entire design process and makes decisions throughout, including the technology, type of equipment to use, bid evaluation and supplier selection, the layout of equipment and operational considerations.
• Lead in search, technical review and evaluation of applicable technology, process, equipment and / or material proposals;
• Liaise with the relevant authorities to apply and obtain the required approvals and project permits;
• Schedule preparation, pre-planning and resource forecasting for engineering and other technical activities relating to the project.

Requirements:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Design Engineer to join our Design team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing custom mechanical systems and components for Asphalt and Concrete plants, as well as overseeing their fabrication and testing.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop custom mechanical systems and components using CAD software (e.g. SolidWorks, Inventor, Creo)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Electrical and Software Engineers, Project managers, and Fabrication Technicians to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Oversee the fabrication and testing of mechanical systems and components
• Develop and maintain project timelines and budgets.
• Perform research and analysis on materials, components, and systems to ensure optimal performance and cost-effectiveness.

• Using optical design software to design optical systems that include lens, aperture, filters with defined light source meeting sensor specification considering the mechanical and electrical tolerance

• Create detail optical test plan and perform verification and implement countermeasures
