• Advise and support Meta’s content, integrity and safety product, regulatory, and compliance teams in preparing for and responding to new content, safety and integrity regulation and legal action.
• Advise teams on compliance strategy and design, review, maintenance and remediation with respect to content-related obligations across Meta’s family of products.
• Advise the compliance function on the enhancement of Meta’s integrity compliance programs with respect to content-related laws and obligations.
• Advise on adequacy of control testing for the mitigation of integrity risks.
• Collaborate with the compliance function, policy and other legal colleagues on regulatory engagement strategy.
• Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to guarantee the observance of Meta’s content-related obligations.
• Build relationships and interface closely with a diverse set of Legal, Risk, and Compliance partners, subject matter experts, internal control partners and/or risk management professionals.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• 8+ years PQE qualified lawyer.
• In-house or law firm experience advising a heavily regulated industry on development of compliance strategies, governance, and frameworks, ideally across multiple jurisdictions.
• Deep understanding and experience of platform regulation, practice and principles.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and make sound judgments under tight deadlines.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience assessing and advising upon a diverse set of legal standards governing content issues, across a range of topics.
