Responsibilities:

• Installing wooden structures such as roofing frames, rafters, partitions, joists and stud work
• Installing cabinets, shelving, fitted furniture, drywall and insulation
• Adding fixtures and fittings such as door handles, locks, hinges and closures
• Selecting lumber by size and strength to suit each job, sourcing wood to suit the customer’s budget and style
• Calculate the number of fasteners required for each job
• Reading blueprints and designs to work to specifications prepared by other construction professionals, architects and building code

Requirements:

• Experience of using hand and power tools such as drills, chisels, sanders, saws and nail guns
• Joinery and cabinet making skills
• Knowledge of building regulations and codes to be adhered to
• Able to work for long hours period or night shift

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure that transactions are posted correctly at the operation level;
• Ensure that transaction/processes align with respective policies or standards;
• Prepare daily cashflow reporting;
• Monitor and reallocation/adjustment/encumbrance of Budget;
• Prepare adjustments, accruals and allocation journals and other monthly journal entries;
• Prepare Balance Sheet Schedules;
• Conduct Fixed Asset sighting (annual);
• Conduct surprise cash count and compliance audit for cashiers(ad-hoc basis);
• Monitor cheque clearings (AR and AP);
• Prepare EDU report;
• Assist and support the audit and Budget exercise;
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliations;
• Assist in other GL reporting as required by Reporting Supervisor/Accountant/Deputy Finance Manager/Finance Manager.

• ž Minimum 7 years experience of marketing of chemicals products in a public listed company
• ž Skills and experience of negotiation with chemical producers, ideally with Japanese chemical producers.
• ž Good management skills in leading a team
• ž Knowledge and experience with finance and accounting.
