Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and implement software solutions on Group Asia/Life Asia platforms.
• Customize and optimize applications to align with business requirements.
• Integrate Group Asia/Life Asia applications with other systems.
• Ensure seamless data flow and interoperability among systems.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for applications.
• Perform regular updates, patches, and enhancements.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specs and user manuals.
• Stay updated on advancements in GroupAsia400/Smart400 technologies and industry trends.
• Propose and implement improvements to enhance application performance and reliability.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a developer on Group Asia/Life Asia platforms.
• Experience in the insurance or financial services industry is desirable.
• Proficiency in relevant programming languages Cobol, RGP, CL.
• Familiarity with database management and SQL.
• Knowledge of integration techniques and technologies.
• Relevant certifications in Group Asia/Life Asia technologies are a plus.

Job Description:

• 2 years of experience in front-end development.
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Ability to convert UX designs into pixel-perfect, responsive HTML/CSS code.
• Deep understanding of underlying JavaScript concepts such as hoisting, closures, call Stack and prototypes.
• Proven experience in creating reusable JavaScript/jQuery functional codes.
• Familiarity with front-end build tools, such as Webpack, Gulp, or Grunt.
• Experience with version control systems, such as Git.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of Promise/AJAX/API integration with back-end services.
• Understanding of responsive design principles.
• Experience with CSS preprocessors like SASS or LESS.
• Good to have knowledge in .NET.

Job Description:

• You will be expected to perform independently and become a subject matter expert (SME).
• Additionally, you will be required to actively participate and contribute in team discussions, as well as provide solutions to work-related problems.
• Advanced proficiency in Build Management is required. Configuration & Release Management, Design & Build Enablement, Java, and React.js are recommended skills with advanced proficiency.
• Develop innovative solutions to enhance application functionality
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements
• Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards
• Troubleshoot and debug application issues
• Stay updated with industry trends and technologies to drive continuous improvement
