Key Responsibilities

• Develop superior content including user manuals, presentation decks, marketing brochures, and web-based articles, ensuring readability and aesthetic appeal across all platforms.
• Engage in comprehensive research and liaise with end-users and technical teams to acquire a detailed understanding of consumer demands, translating technical jargon into accessible and engaging content.

Overview

St. Joseph's Institution International School (SJI International) is seeking a dedicated and experienced Marketing and Communications Executive. The Marketing & Communications Executive is a key contributor within the Advancement and Communications Office (ACO). This role involves the fulfilment of the school’s brand and marketing strategy by managing advertising campaigns, design and content creation, and ensuring that all marketing efforts align with SJI International's strategic goals. The role demands graphic design skills, excellent project management capabilities, exceptional communication and attention to detail, and a team-oriented mindset.

Key Responsibilities

Brand Strategy and Design:

• Implement and uphold SJI International’s brand strategy and style guides, ensuring brand consistency across all school materials and platforms.
• Lead the design and production of visually appealing marketing and communication materials, including but not limited to brochures, newsletters, fundraising kits, and both internal and external publications.
• Create engaging content for print, web, and social media platforms, working closely with various departments to ensure relevance, accuracy, and strategic alignment.

Project Management and Collaboration:

• Manage the planning, coordination, and execution of communication projects, effectively handling multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Collaborate with cross-departmental teams to bring projects from concept to completion, ensuring smooth execution across web, print, and social media platforms.

Media Relations and Public Relations (PR):

• Plan and execute media outreach campaigns to elevate school visibility across digital marketing channels and media outlets.

Content Creation and Marketing:

• Support the production of dynamic photo and video content that showcases school activities, events, and classroom experiences, coordinating with both internal resources and external vendors.

Event Support and Execution:

• Support school-wide events both in the marketing campaign and in event logistics.
• Assist in the planning and execution of major ACO-related events, ensuring all promotional and communication aspects are executed seamlessly.

Merchandise and Corporate Gifts:

• Contribute to the production of fundraising merchandise and corporate gifts, ensuring all items reflect the school’s brand and values.

Qualifications and Skills

• Diploma/Degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in marketing, communications, or design, with a focus on branding, content creation, and digital marketing.
• Strong graphic design skills with proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work consistently.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external partners.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with experience in media relations and public relations strategies.

Job Description:

• Monitor and verify that the Environmental Management Plan (EMP) is adhered to at all times and taking action if the specifications are not followed.
• Monitor and verify that environmental impacts are kept to a minimum during the planning and design and construction phases of the project.

Job Requirement:

• Registered with National Environment Agency (NEA).
• Good knowledge of ECO Scheme and Environmental Laws.
• At least 5 years relevant working experience in construction industry; particularly civil works or in LTA project, or similar scale, complexity and nature of work will be advantages.
• Familiar with Occupational Health & Safety Management System.

Job Description:

• To manage and negotiate pricing, commercial terms with local and overseas suppliers and recommend the most competitive suppliers and subcon.
