Ultimately, the position "Engineer (Developer)" is to build high-quality, innovative and fully performing software that complies with the banks coding standards and technical design.

Main tasks

• Execute full software development life cycle (SDLC) of resilient, highly scalable back-end components and services, web pages, and re-usable front-end components
• Product portfolio management and steering, implementation and ongoing development of one or more products, services, processes and/or systems across the entire life cycle in a team, taking quality standards into account

Description of specifications with regards to work profiles

Work experience requirements:

• Several years of hands-on experience in software development using Java / Python
• Proficient knowledge of Unix scripting, databases (NoSQL like MongoDB, Relational DB like PostgreSQL)
• Proficiency with software and product development lifecycle (incl. coding, coding standards and reviews, source control, testing, debugging, build, deployment and operations)
• Experience in front end / UI technologies including frameworks such as React / Angular / Bootstrap. Proficiency in Mobile / Responsive UIs would be a plus.
• Experience using big data platform Spark,
• Experience in CI / CD tools: Maven / Gradle, Jenkins / TeamCity, GIT / Bitbucket
• Familiar with DevOps, Agile / Scrum
• Keen understanding of applications and infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Undertake detailed design in Geotechnical field for different nature of projects
• Develop design concepts and construction methodologies and provide leadership in sectional project execution
• To liaise with Client, Client’s Consultants, Contractor, and Local Authorities to obtain design approval
• Assist Division Head in maintaining high quality standards of design and construction
• Assist Division Head in the management of division employees
• Responsible to participate and support the Company’s SHEQ within their scope of duties

Requirements:

• Degree qualified in Civil and/or Geotechnical Engineering (with appropriate experience)
• Competent in Plaxis 2D and 3D (preferred), Eurocodes and familiar with LTA and BCA standards
• Minimum 3 years relevant geotechnical design experience in deep excavations, tunnelling and project management gained within a technical consultancy
• Experience in pile design, temporary works (ERSS), ground models, groundwater control, instrumentation and monitoring, and construction supervision

Requirements

• Recognised Degree in Mechanical Engineering with PEB Singapore
• Candidate must have min 6 years of relevant working experience in design engineering of ACMV / HVAC, Fire Protection and Plumbing services with Engineering Consultancies in Singapore
• Proven track record of working across organization boundaries to define requirements, solve complex problems and drive programs to successful completion
• Good understanding of Singapore Code of Practice and local authority submission process (LTA / PUB / BCA)
