Responsibilities:
Google Workspace
Google Workspace Management:
â—Ź Administer and maintain Google Workspace services, including Gmail, Google Drive, Google Calendar, Google Meet, Google Chat, and other associated applications.
â—Ź Configure and optimize Google Workspace settings to meet the organization's specific needs.
â—Ź Monitor and manage user accounts, groups, and permissions.
Security and Compliance:
â—Ź Implement and maintain security best practices to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with data privacy regulations.
â—Ź Manage access controls, authentication, and authorization within Google Workspace.
Integration and Customization:
â—Ź Integrate Google Workspace with other third-party applications and services as needed.
â—Ź Create and manage custom scripts, apps, and workflows to enhance productivity and streamline processes.
User Support and Training:
â—Ź Provide technical support to end-users, including troubleshooting issues, resolving technical problems, and assisting with user training.
â—Ź Create and maintain documentation and training materials for Google Workspace users.
Monitoring and Reporting:
â—Ź Monitor system performance and usage, proactively identifying and resolving issues.
â—Ź Generate reports and insights on Google Workspace usage and performance for management.
Microsoft Endpoint Manager or VMware Workspace One
Device Deployment and Configuration:
â—Ź Plan, oversee, and execute the deployment of end user devices, including desktops, laptops, tablets, and mobile devices.
â—Ź Configure and maintain device images, ensuring that they meet the organization's security and performance standards.
Device Security and Compliance:
â—Ź Implement and enforce security policies and practices for end user devices, ensuring protection against threats and adherence to compliance standards.
â—Ź Regularly update and patch devices to mitigate vulnerabilities.
Endpoint Management:
â—Ź Manage endpoint management systems and tools for device inventory, remote monitoring, and troubleshooting.
â—Ź Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues on end user devices.
Software Management:
â—Ź Oversee software deployment and updates, including operating systems, applications, and software licenses.
â—Ź Ensure software compliance and license management.
User Support and Training:
â—Ź Provide technical support to end users, addressing their device-related issues and inquiries.
â—Ź Develop and deliver user training and documentation to enhance device usage.
Asset Management:
â—Ź Maintain an accurate inventory of end user devices, including hardware specifications, warranties, and locations.
â—Ź Monitor device lifecycles and recommend replacements or upgrades as needed.
Performance Optimization:
â—Ź Optimize end user device performance to ensure efficient use and responsiveness.
â—Ź Implement performance monitoring and tuning strategies.
PowerShell Scripting:
â—Ź Demonstrate excellent knowledge of PowerShell scripting to automate device management tasks and enhance efficiency.
Qualifications:
â—Ź Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
â—Ź 5-10 years of experience in end user device management and support.
â—Ź Proficiency in managing a variety of end user devices and operating systems, including Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android.
â—Ź Strong knowledge of endpoint security best practices and compliance requirements.
â—Ź Familiarity with endpoint management tools and systems.
â—Ź Proficiency in Google Workspace services and associated tools.
â—Ź Strong understanding of cloud-based collaboration and productivity tools.
â—Ź Knowledge of security best practices and compliance within Google Workspace.
â—Ź Experience with scripting and automation using Google Workspace APIs.
â—Ź Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
â—Ź Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
