Main Responsibilities:

• Ensure provision of the Act and Regulations are complied with
• Promote safe conduct of work in the yard
• Liaise with WSHO or Safety Coordinator on the matter with regards to safety, health and welfare of people working in the yard
• Conduct Safety Induction Programme
• Ensure that appropriate personal protective equipment is used by the employees, contractors' workers and visitors
• Conduct inspection tours at worksite
• Report any unsafe conditions, equipment and housekeeping
• Apply permit to work system as required by the procedures and regulations
• Liaise with subcontractors’ safety supervisors with respect to safety of work undertaken by subcontractors
• Ensure that all records of safety equipment are in order and properly maintained
• Assist WSHO in the event of any incidents
• Any other ad-hoc duties assigned

Requirements:

• Bilingual in English and Mandarin to liaise with Chinese clients who can converse in Mandarin only
• Minimum Diploma in Workplace Safety & Health/Engineering or related discipline
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in marine shipyard operations

Roles & responsibilities:

Requirements and relevant experience are as below:

• Have an in-depth understanding of how Copper Plating and Wet Etching process equipment working principle and how critical parameters will impact process and to work together with process counterpart to resolve complex integration issues
• Manage and plan new equipment start-up to support production
• Establish Preventive Maintenance (PM) plans for all equipment and optimize PM for quality, cost, and productivity.
• Liaise with vendors to resolve equipment issues and improve equipment performance of Copper Plating and Wet Etching equipment
