ROLE DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

A Systems Engineer (Solutions)interfaces with customers and identifies their needs. A Systems Engineer (Solutions)with then work with various departments from network engineers, support and operations to ensure a plan is in motion to improve the customer's experience. A Systems Engineer (Solutions)works to balance various aspects of the project, from safety to design. Additionally, a Systems Engineer (Solutions)researches advanced technology regarding best practices in the field and seek to find cost-effective solutions.

Performs a subset of the system engineering activities required to develop a solution or product.

Analyses the customer’s and other stakeholders’ needs whatever the used means (e.g. advanced studies, simulations, mock-ups, models, prototypes, …)

- Describes the missions, functions and requirements on the sub-system

- Formalises the specification and the architectural design to develop the sub-system

- Prepares and performs the solution or product integration, verification and validation tests.

KEY ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

As aSystem Engineer, you are accountable to:

• Perform the engineering requirements analysis
• Provides required technical documentation:
• Design Documents (Preliminary, Final)
• Statement of Works for suppliers and external contractors
• Input/output requirement for Interfaces Management
• Input for specialty engineering: RAMS, EMC/EMI, Cyber-Security.
• Input for Installation Management
• Operation and Maintenance documentation
• Training material
• Assists the bid team to scope and cost engineering work packages
• Work with contractors to produce costing, ensure that they deliver on time
• Reports and follow-up the KPIs for the sub-system
• Participate to progress meetings
• Analyse and Correct the Problem Changes Requests

KEY KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

To be successful in your role, you will have demonstrated and/or acquired the following knowledge and experience:

QUALIFICATIONS

• Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics Engineering or related discipline (essential)
• Higher degree qualifications are desirable.
• Demonstrated engineering competencies required for qualification to INCOSE CSEP (or equivalent, or ASEP) are highly desirable.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in an Engineering role
• Able to decipher technical scope from high level requirements
• Experience with Governmental and/or complex IT Projects
• Strong oral and written communications skills.

DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE

• Experience working on Software Security projects
• Experience working within a Systems Engineering lifecycle
• Knowledge of Thales Products and Processes
• Membership of relevant professional organisation, e.g. INCOSE, Institution of Engineers Singapore, etc.

Main Duties:

• Oversee the construction activities and progress, plan, implement and monitor work
• Liaise with consultants (QPS) for technical issues and coordinate the site activities with subcontractors
• Supervise ongoing site activities closely

Requirements:

• Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in civil works
• Minimum 2 years of working experience in LTA viaduct and station projects

Responsibilities

1. Responsible for research and development of image generation technologies, including the development of foundational models for text-to-image generation, image editing techniques, image enhancement, and multimodal generation of text and images.

2. Keep up with the latest advancements in AIGC algorithms, be responsible for the research and development and engineering implementation of related technologies, and accelerate the adoption and optimization of cutting-edge AIGC technologies in business scenarios such as live broadcasting, short video, and instant messaging.

Requirements

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in computer vision, pattern recognition, machine learning, or related fields.

• Some work experience in computer vision, deep learning, machine learning, computer graphics, etc, familiar with mainstream models and algorithms, and capable of following up and implementing new algorithms.

• Strong engineering implementation ability, proficient in at least one deep learning framework (such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.).

• Good learning ability, teamwork, and communication skills.

• Priority will be given to candidates with experience in GAN-related image generation and editing, video editing, style transfer, portrait editing, etc.

• Priority will be given to candidates with experience in Stable Diffusion, ControlNet, DreamBooth, LoRA, etc.

• Priority will be given to candidates who have published papers in internationally renowned AI conferences or have won awards in ACM competitions.

Responsibilities

1. Responsible for tracking and developing cutting-edge technologies in one or more areas of speech recognition, voice conversion, or speech synthesis.

2. Provide algorithmic solutions based on business needs, offer solutions to problems encountered in the business, and ensure the smooth delivery of solutions.

3. Continuously improve the effectiveness of speech recognition, voice conversion, or speech synthesis based on the latest academic and industrial achievements.

Requirements

• Master's degree or above in voice, signal processing, computer science, or related fields.

• Strong engineering implementation ability, familiar with voice processing tools and libraries, proficient in at least one deep learning framework (such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.).

• Clear logical thinking, good analytical and communication skills, capable of independently optimizing technical points.

• Priority will be given to candidates who have published papers in internationally renowned AI conferences or have won awards in ACM competitions.
