As a Service Delivery Engineer, you will provide world-class delivery support to our customers by building an in-depth knowledge of our customers’ priorities and initiatives and becoming a trusted advisor that avoids customer impact and facilitates continuous improvement. You will identify potential sales and growth opportunities and will partner with key stakeholders to maximize these prospects.

Job Description & Requirements

1. Preparation of maintenance schedule according to clients master schedule.

2. Preparation of progress report and submission

3. Procurement of material/ parts/ components

4. Technical assessment of systems and introduction of retrofit / replacement recommendation to clients

5. On the job risk analysis and preparation of risk assessment procedure.

6. Preparation of method of statement / process for presentation to clients.

7. Perform checks and inspections of entire systems including control parameters attendance.

8. Troubleshooting of fault / breakdowns and rectification according to authorities / clients requirement.

9. Perform full set of testing complying to authorities / clients requirement.

10. Perform maintenance program and complying to authorities / clients requirementt.

11. Attendance of meeting and or site survey with clients.

12. Submission of quotations / costing to clients within stimulated time frame.

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct product feasibility studies, define system and hardware architectures and solutions, and create execution plan for new product development
• Design schematic, create BOM, support prototype/engineering build.
• Create hardware and system specifications, develop hardware solutions and test plan, validate designs and conduct relevant functional, stress and regulatory tests
• Define, design, develop, troubleshoot and evaluate electronic parts, components or integrated circuitry for new product and other hardware systems
• Work with cross functional and manufacturing team to resolve design issues and to support production problems
• Provide technical expertise and consultation to peers
• Maintain consistent high quality of engineering design work to develop robust, high performance and cost effective designs and products
• Meet project schedules and budgets
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

• Degree/Master in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum of 8 years of hardware or system direct experience with proven track record of embedded system designs
• Design experience and knowledge in any of the following:

1. Real-time embedded systems, high speed digital and mixed-signal platforms designs.
2. SoC/Processors/Controllers, DDR4 DRAM, NAND/NOR Flash, SATA, SAS, USB, PCIe, GbE technologies.
3. SI/PI simulation tools for high speed digital design is preferred but not mandatory.
4. Wireless design and validation such as WiFi, BT and LTE.

• Understanding integration of software and hardware required
• NPI project execution experience and familiarity with Product Development Life Cycle will be desirable
• Experience using CAD tools (e.g. Cadence Allegro, Siemens PADS or Altium Designer)
• Familiar with ISO9001 or ISO13485

• Working Location: Bukit Batok
• Working Hours: 5 days, Mon to Fri (9am to 6pm)

Key Responsibilities

• To plan projects, establish project criteria, coordinate project reviews, and ensure the proper implementation of project elements.
• Interacting daily with clients to interpret their needs and requirements and representing them in the field
• Perform overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule, personnel’s performance) and report regularly on project status
• Assign responsibilities and mentor the project team.
• Cooperate and communicate effectively with project manager and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support
• Work effectively as part of a team with minimal supervision.

Job Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or any related field
• Proven working experience as a Project Engineer
• Excellent knowledge of design and visualizations software such as AutoCAD
• Advanced MS Office skills
• Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices and performance standards

• Must have relevant work experience in engineering or a related field

Responsibilities

• Drive customer issue resolution activities following the claims management process, i.e. root cause analysis, containment, corrective action, and factory process / quality controls improvements to prevent recurrence of problems and efficacies of detection
• Work with regional Technical Product Managers to resolve field claims. This includes performing failure analysis and field visits to customer sites/installation
• Providing timely engineering insights including failure analysis technical reports and presentation
• Analyze product warranty claim and provide modeling on product service life
• Collaborate with cross functional teams, contributing to the domain of product FA or characterization
• Handles customer visits and factory audits and product inspection

Requirements

• Min Bachelor / Masters / Phd Degree in Engineering or Science (Electrical, Mechanical, Physical Sciences)
• Application experience in managing (large) data modelling would be favorable
• Problem-solving, failure analysis and trouble-shooting, statistical data analysis and design of experiment
• Ability to interface and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams as well as external stake holders and external auditors
• Communicate effectively through presentation and technical reports
