This position reports to the Technical Manager and is responsible to provide technical support to the machine shop and subcontract vendors on complex machining methods for both Premier Hytemp Singapore and Malaysia. Technical support may involve design tooling, fixtures, and machining methods for complex features and new product qualifications. The Manufacturing engineer is responsible to lead acquisition and implementation of latest technology (machines) to improve capability and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Evaluation of complex machine drawings for manufacturing
• Propose and implement tooling & fixtures for machining of complex features
• Support Manufacturing team on new product qualifications and ensure manufacturing is achieving most optimized and competitive hours
• He or she must have strong knowledge on CNC machining process with strong understanding and capability to design fixture or use on best tooling to achieve optimized and competitive machining capability
• Work with Procurement team to develop strategic sub-con machining supplier
• Source and develop new relevant and good machining vendors to company’s approved vendor list
• Provide technical guidance and ensure supplier passes first article approvals
• Involved in daily MRB (Material Review Board) meeting to provide technical input for jobs when non-conformance occurs

Requirements

At least 10 years of relevant experience as Leader or Senior Electrical Engineer in EPC project for Power, Petrochemical and/or Waste-to-Energy plants
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent
Strong background in EPC projects Strong leadership & people management
Familiar with industrial standard, e.g, ISO, IEEE, and etc. and Singapore standard, e.g SS638
Familiar with statutory Regulation or Code, like Singapore transmission code. etc.
Able to work in collaboration with various disciplines
Able to interface seamlessly with engineering, construction, and operations contractors

Able to work on-site in construction environment

As a Service Engineer, you will have the responsibility for installation, service, and maintenance of KONGSBERG’s Tank Gauging, Loading and Stability Systems onboard sailing ships and in shipyards, as well as offer in-house technical support and remote service to customers and colleagues around the world. Within the Tank Gauging, Loading and Stability Systems product range, we have systems such as Cargo Monitoring and Control system, Sensor Reliability Application, Custody Transfer System and numerous sensor applications for monitoring of Cargo tanks.

Responsibilities:

• Installation & commissioning of Kongsberg Maritimes Tank Gauging Loading and Stability Systems.
• Provide service & maintenance onboard vessels worldwide
• Technical support and on-call/remote service
• Engage in product innovation, development and sales support activities.
• Cover service activities in South East Asia and maintain good relationship with existing clients
• Required to undertake ad-hoc duties which may be assigned from time to time.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Electronics/Mechatronic/Instrumentation Automation: Relevant experience may compensate for lack of education
• Must have excellent co-operative skills, good communication skills, result-oriented, self-motivated and the project-management skill
• Relevant experience in the maritime industry, especially with onboard Automation and Cargo tank gauging systems.
• Experience with control systems and cargo monitoring is a plus.

General Overview

The incumbent will provide 1st level end user support and involve in the 2nd level support for the infrastructure services. He will also perform daily server room operation and support site related projects. This position will be based at Jurong Island.

Roles and Responsibilities

1st and 2nd Level Support

• Laptop/desktop support, file & print services, network connectivity, LAN\WAN, PABX, Office365 and basic application troubleshooting.
• Escalate issues to 2nd level support staff/vendor if issues cannot be resolved.
• Participate in Out-Of-Office-Hours support on-call standby roster for handling 2nd level support for critical infrastructure services.

Systems and Cloud Administration and Maintenance

• Provide Storage, Networking, Wintel server, Active Directory, and database administration.
• Liaise with external vendors for any related hardware/software maintenance and services.
• Perform Installation/Configuration/Monitoring/Patching/Upgrades of servers, operating systems, databases and other system related software.
• Ensure all vulnerabilities are patched on a timely basis.
• Perform disaster recovery testing.
• Manage cloud resources and integration.

• Manage AWS resources network traffic using security groups.
• Administer SDDC NSX of VMware Cloud on AWS.

IT Governance and Documentation

Project Management

• Undertake infrastructure and cyber security related projects as assigned by reporting manager.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of relevant working experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Cisco routing and switching, Linux, SAN storage, Firewall/VPN and AWS/Azure cloud.
• Experience with Windows Active Directory, VMware ESX/vSphere/vCentre, Internet proxies, Anti-virus and security principles.
• Knowledge of applicable IT security, confidentiality and data privacy practices.
• Experience in setting policies, procedures, network software and hardware standards and documentation standards.
• CCNA/CCNP/MCSE or equivalent certification will be advantageous.

• Providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance to clients and project teams, and resolve any issues that arise during the project lifecycle

Job Requirements
