- To report to Head of the Department for daily job assignments.

- Carry out inspection, installation, testing, commissioning, servicing, maintenance and troubleshooting for the assigned jobs that include but not limited to:

· Electrical works

· PLC Controllers/Modules

· BMS/SCADA

· HMI

· A/C Works

- Provide internal & external trainings on electrical controls, electrical troubleshooting, PLC program writing & troubleshooting, control panel assembly and basic electrical theory.

- Produce Progress Tracking Report (PTR) for assigned jobs.

- Report and communicate with customers and Oceanmaster PIC the technical issues, status, progress and recommendations of the assigned job.

- Submit to Operations Administrator an accurate and duly signed & stamped Timesheets, Work Reports, Commissioning Checklists (if any) and Customer Satisfaction Survey Forms on every completion of assigned job.

- Produce Close-Out Report after completion of the assigned job.

- Comply with quality of work requirements of OceanMaster at all times.

- Comply with protection of environment and health & safety policies of OceanMaster at all times.

- Adhere to no wastage policy of OceanMaster in terms of materials and labour to assigned jobs at all times.

- All other duties assigned by the Managements as and when necessary.

Requirements

- Graduate of Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering (Bachelor’s Degree)

- Minimum 5 year experience in Marine Electrical field

- Minimum 3 year experience in Instrumentations and PLC handling and installation

- Proficient in Electrical, instrumentation and/or Electronics troubleshooting

- Proficient in written and oral English communication skill

The Job:

Act as key person of the project as designated by Piping Department Manager and performs the function inherent to this position.

Preparation of major piping layout, MTO sketch, and 3D CAD model review on piping system, equipment and structure, and interference detection.

Has the technical responsibility for interpreting and evaluating stress/ vibration result, for reviewing piping layout, and piping information.

Review piping engineering progress against approved schedule, for evaluating changes and taking corrective action when required, providing technical guidance, and organizing, executing and coordinating these responsibilities to ensure timely completion and meets project schedule and budget.

The Role:

• Study ITB, project and design basis such as scope of work, overall project schedule, basic design data, client specification, client standard drawings, existing drawings, and plot plan.

• Check and review all work such as piping layout and information prepared by Engineers, 3D model, MTO, BQ and other deliverables of the project for compliance to project standards or specifications, applicable codes, contract requirements, quality standards and accepted engineering and construction practices.

• Check and review piping material specification (line classes), specifications/requisitions for bulk and special piping components, vendor quotation evaluations and verifications of vendor documents and piping material take-off prepared by engineers for compliance to project standards or specifications, applicable codes, contract requirements, quality standards and accepted engineering and construction practices.

• Provide field engineering support/advice towards piping installation and testing at construction site.

• Perform the function inherent to Piping Key Person as designated by Piping Department Manager.

• Evaluate the performance of and provide counseling and guidance to members of the project.

• Identify and recommend training programs including cross training of piping staff within the team in collaboration with the Department Manager.

• Prepare lesson learned upon completion of the project and recommend preventive actions to avoid recurrence on future projects to Piping Design Supervisor.

• Perform other tasks that may be assigned by the Department Manager.

• Carry out engineering support work during the construction phase of the project.

The Requirements:

• Degree of any four years BS Engineering course, preferably Mechanical Engineering or least 15 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• At least 12 years in the field of piping design involving detailed design, stress evaluation, production work, 3D model review, and construction engineering support, and 5 years of which in a supervisory capacity.

• Good knowledge of AutoCAD.

• Basic knowledge of 3D Model review through Navisworks or SPR Software.

• Interpretation of stress/vibration analysis report.

• Able to read, analyze, and interpret common technical information, contracts reports and instructions.

YOUR ROLE:

The Senior Data Engineer will work on acquiring, storing, governing and processing huge sets of structured / unstructured data. You will bring a vision of the big data solutions landscape for choosing optimal architecture components to use for these purposes as well as a set of data engineering skills for implementing enterprise data foundations such as data lake.
