· Pursuing, sourcing, developing, and building Full Life Cycle Solution business to increase sales & revenues and provide the highest level of customer satisfaction in the region.
· Develop/implement localized value-added solutions that suits specific local demands and meeting 3 objectives/goals in mind: (1) engineering optimization/improvement; (2) cost reduction; (3) shorter lead time.
· Development-to-Implementation of new, competitive, innovative, differentiative & localize solutions for both Aftermarket and New Units sales in the region.
· Actively collaborating closely with Aftermarket Sales & Service, Engineering, relevant team members, JV partners (Turkey & China) and external suppliers to improve & increase both Aftermarket and New Units solutions to improve sales in the region.
· Supporting sales activities for IRM products including preparation of quotation, technical specification, quotation follow up, commercial/technical clarification, updating of quotation logs, preparing and submission of order for internal approval.
· Responsible for sales support but not limited to equipment sizing, reviewing of customer’s specification/requirement, technical clarification, answer of customer queries.
· Responsible for preparing engineering document, engineering design/review, tendering proposal, document submission to customer.
· Responsible for sourcing & out-sourcing matters but not limited to preparation of specification of buyout items, sourcing of suppliers, commercial/technical discussion, issue of purchase order, expansion of supply chain.
· Responsible for keeping relevant documents and common database up to date including Equipment documents/drawings, enhancing / updating solution weapon list, engineering data, vendor documentation etc.
· Responsible for Quality assurance including ensuring that goods supply meet the company’s engineering/quality requirement, carry out inspection during / after manufacturing.
· Maintaining and enhancing customer connectivity and engagement.
· Managing, collaborating, leading, educating, and mentoring other team members & authorized distributors & business partners.
· Support the development and training of existing & new business partners / distributors / agents / dealers.
Skills and Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field
· Minimum 10 years of relevant working experience in handling Compressor solutions engineering & application engineering related field
· Knowledge, experience and passion in handling centrifugal/screw/reciprocating compressor business in Asia Pacific Region
· Strong verbal and written communication skills to be able to present ideas as well as discuss problems and solutions cross functionally
· Excellent rapport building and negotiation skills
· Possess strong initiative with problem solving and decision-making skills
· Willing to travel frequently for Asia-Pacific Region such as ASEAN, Bangladesh, Pakistan and India, etc. (travel frequency: 50% & above)
