Job Responsibilities

• Check and verify that the works being implemented on the job site are incompliance with the requirement of latest approved drawings and contract specifications
• Plan and arrange concrete trail mix as per specs.
• Issue Non-Conformance Report (NCR) once activities deviated from the approved drawings and Contract specifications
• Liaise with the QPs/Client for the closure of Non-Conformance notices.
• Preparation and Submission of Method of Statement, Quality record and documents, Test Results, Material Submission and Concrete Design Mixes for client approval
• Maintain Project Quality Plan, Management Plan and other Quality records, attend and/or arrange testing activities
• Compilation of all test reports for submission to the authorities via transmittal
• Update of progress monthly report under quality matters for submission to the authorities.
• Support the site external and internal quality audits.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and monitor construction progress, including planning, implementation, and scheduling in accordance with the work programme.
• Collaborate with Professional Engineers regarding Temporary works and with consultants (QPS) to address technical issues, while also coordinating subcontractor activities.
• Supervise the direct workers and to give instruction to the sub-contractors.Coordinate with land surveyors and sub-contractors on all setting out works.
• Address engineering and technical concerns and provide guidance to supervisors to ensure construction proceeds on schedule, adheres to quality standards, and any issues are resolved promptly.
• Liaise with QP(S) representative regarding standard of workmanship. To check if the works are carried out strictly in compliance with the contract specifications and requirements for the purpose of general quality control.
• Conduct site inspections, prepare reports and method statements as needed, and closely manage workers to maintain safety and cleanliness at the site.
• Oversee ongoing site activities.
