Job Description & Purpose
· To provide facilities support pertaining to Electrical Hookup Co-ordination and facilitate utility services installations to production equipment so as to ensure completion of installation in time and high quality standard.
Job Requirements & Key Responsibility
· Technical
o Plan and co-ordinate services and tool layout to optimize electrical hook-up jobs
o Review and co-ordinate tools and utilities services configuration interfaces
o Monitor tool installations schedule, utility services energization and review utility capacity usage tracking and consumptions and work with users to implement projects to reduce the consumption where possible
o Control of project cost
o Generate Hookup installation protocol and procedures to ensure safe working methods are employed
o Formulate and implement operating procedures to ensure optimum operation of services or cost effective design installations
o Ensure plant histories, drawings, data and other appropriate documentations are being generated and properly filed for future reference and review.
o Evaluate engineering designs, schedule control, upgrading design and carry out project supervision
o Carry out repair and troubleshooting of services in order to restore services to their operating conditions in the shortest possible time
· Innovation & Quality
· Ensure that all quality expectations are up held to meet better than expected customer request.
o Manage and execute facilities expansion and improvement projects.
· Create and innovate new process for continuous improvement to current processes to attain best in class quality and cost.
· Participate in continuous improvement programs
· Safety
· Ensure all site safety, discipline and housekeeping rules are in compliance as part of daily responsibility.
· Continuously seek to enhance on existing safety procedures for continuous improvement.
· Leadership
· Lead in technical understanding of specific process.
· Provide leadership in trouble shooting of any process inadequacy.
o Provide guidance and training to fellow colleagues so as to ensure adequate working practices and design are compiled
Experience
· 10-15 years of relevant working experience in semiconductor, pharmaceutical or petrochemical industry
· Candidates with semiconductor equipment installation experience have an added advantage
Skill and Knowledge
· Basic engineering knowledge, which may include project installation, project management or semiconductor equipment installation
· Knowledge of practical electrical main & hook-up systems insatllation skills
· Strong problem solving skills
