Job Description
The Electromechanical Specialist reports directly to the Service Manager and has responsibilities for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the woodworking machines for customers.

Responsibilities

• Technical after Sales support to external, but also internal customers as required by the Company.

Job Responsibilities:

• Discuss & align with regional profit team & other counterparts to ascertain the profit management scope & requirement
• Establish & align with relevant functions, a clear linkage between sales performance indicators and the resulting profit by function
• Explore & propose ways to systemize the target setting, data collection and review process
• Collect data, analyze and evaluate target proposals from the counterparts
• Identify gaps or opportunities and establish a recommended target position
• Discuss and align with counterparts on the identified gaps / opportunities
• Support counterparts where necessary, on their gap / opportunity closing activities
• As and when required, support regional profit team and other counterparts to visualize sales & profit at a functional, vehicle model or country level
• Identify gaps and opportunities to support the counterparts on action planning
• Where required, support team members on other project work

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering or related field
• Possess a strong numeracy, structured & analytical mind with problem-solving aptitude are preferred
• 0 - 5 years of relevant experience
• Basic knowledge of demand & supply concept or experience preferred
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel/PowerPoint) to run analysis & visualization, reporting purpose etc
• Training will be provided
• Open to travel overseas

· Handle Daily Purchasing operation including sourcing, quotation inquiry, negotiating pricing and expediting delivery schedule

· Receive Purchase Requisition form from various departments and place order

· Prepare and issuance of Purchase order

· Track and trace Purchase order and delivery schedules and communicate the status updates to the relevant departments and storemans

· Assist to establish and implement new inventory system

· Monitor stock movement to ensure minimum inventory holdings using inventory system

· Identify and evaluate new vendors on pricing, quality and level of service on a regular basis

· Participate in full stock take

· Able to maintain good relationship with current existing and new suppliers

· Arrangement of drivers to collect deliveries ordered

· Check and approve suppliers' invoices against Purchase Orders and delivery orders

· Assist in answering calls and doing proper documentation of documents.

· Other Ad-Hoc Duties as assigned by superiors

Requirements

· Fast Learner, Able to get things done fast in a systematic way.
