Marketing Operations Specialist (SG)

As a Marketing Operations Specialist, you will support the most prominent Technology brand in supporting APAC workstreams. You will manage the planning and operational processes for the team, including budgeting, headcount management, and marketing promotional strategies and campaign operations. This role focuses on campaign operations, retail marketing, and marketing promotions.

Responsibilities: 

• Support marketing projects and initiatives for the team - including e-commerce and onsite retail marketing projects. 
• Help in annual and quarterly planning, including budget and headcount processes; identify and develop key operations processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Partner across the broader Marketing organisation and sales teams to implement, maintain, and continuously optimise operating models meant to focus on ways of working between teams.
• Constantly find opportunities to streamline, connect and simplify approvals, create best practices and share learnings. 
• Help manage large-scale e-commerce marketing content initiatives with multiple workstreams in a highly dynamic environment. 
• Work with stakeholders and agencies on processes and guidelines for projects.
• Manage and lead projects and efforts between multiple stakeholders - partner agency, client, and own teams. Facilitate a good feedback process for campaign workflow optimisation.

You:

• BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 4+ years of experience in a marketing or advertising agency working on technology or consumer-led projects and clients 
• Experience with marketing operations across online and offline channels (e.g., website, mobile, retail stores, onsite promotional campaigns), managing launch timelines, and launch programs across diverse markets for the online space
• Ability to synthesise launch schedules and effectively influence and communicate cross-functionally across different teams
• Ability to execute within timelines, with multiple stakeholders and reviewers, and the ability to deliver projects on time with high accuracy
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage diverse high-visibility priorities concurrently.
• Exceptional verbal and written English communication and presentation skills and, ideally, fluent in another Asian language to support the projects spanning APAC.

PURPOSE AND SCOPE

The Applications (SAP) team within Group Digital is tasked with building and maintaining the ERP Technology backbone to accelerate business growth and enable incubation of new business areas rapidly.

The SAP Consultant will be the subject matter expert of the SAP functional area and responsible for delivering SAP solution in accordance to the business needs.

KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

SAP Application Expertise

• Subject matter expert in SAP FICO area with in-depth knowledge of best practices and technology trend.
• Develop fit for purpose solutions that align with business operation and enterprise architecture.

Project/Solution Delivery

• Responsible for delivering projects and enhancements of SAP systems in alignment with the global roadmap and template.
• Liaise with Business Owners to identify business needs.
• Conduct Requirement Gathering Workshop; perform Fit-Gap Analysis and Solution Design; prepare Business Blueprint and Functional Specs; review Technical Specs, Configuration Document, RICEF List, Authorization Matrix, Test Scenarios and UAT Scripts, End user training manuals.
• Perform Data Migration from legacy systems to SAP.
• Ensure customer/business user adoption through change management and user training.
• Ensure smooth transition of newly implemented SAP applications to Application Maintenance and
• Support (AMS) team for their day-to-day support.
• · Review business requirement specifications and feasibility of possible solutions provided by
• AMS vendors.
• · Identify and resolve systems issues proactively.

SAP Technical Ownership and Governance

• Review and update of the Global Template; manage localization or deviation requests to the Global Template.
• Comply with SAP application policies procedures and guidelines.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate the business impacts of SAP system-related risks; participate in patch and business continuity exercise to ensure compliance to Sembcorp risk and security framework

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology
• At least 8 years of strong SAP FICO background, preferably with international technology companies or end user MNC in Utilities / Energy / Power Gen or related industries, in a similar capacity
• FICO lead in at least 3 full cycles SAP implementation projects
