RESPONSIBILITIES

Summary:

The Product Owner will oversee the end-to-end delivery and operations of data analytics products and solutions.

Acting as both a strategist and liaison, this role bridges business objectives with technical requirements, driving the roadmap for analytics initiatives.

They will engage with stakeholders to gather business needs, translate them into technical specifications, and lead the prioritization of projects in alignment with business goals.

Proactively consult on analytics solutions with the support of the BI and Analytics team.

Collaborate with Data Engineers to ensure the data architecture supports business needs and work with Data Analysts to deliver actionable insights that can be effectively utilized by stakeholders.

The role requires a balance of product ownership and business analysis, fostering cross-functional collaboration to deliver impactful data-driven solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Define and manage the product roadmap: Develop a strategic roadmap for analytics products, aligning initiatives with business objectives and regularly updating it based on feedback and changing priorities.

• Gather, translate, and document requirements: Engage with stakeholders to capture business objectives, translate them into actionable requirements, and maintain clear documentation for technical teams.

• Lead prioritization and sprint planning: Assess project priorities, balancing impact and feasibility, to effectively manage backlogs and lead sprint planning with agile teams. Develop user stories, acceptance criteria, and process documentation for analytics solutions

• Oversee end-to-end delivery of analytics products: Collaborate closely with Data Engineers, Analysts, and stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of dashboards, reports, and analytics solutions.

• Support user acceptance testing and change management: Develop and execute UAT plans, oversee testing, and manage change requests, ensuring deliverables meet user expectations.

• Driving User Adoption: Monitor the adoption and performance of analytics products, refining them to maximize business value and user satisfaction.

• Acting as the catalyst for collaboration: Manage stakeholders within the technical team and the wider business to ensure engagement, information flow, and project alignment, fostering a collaborative environment.

The role is with our Murex environment management team which is working on a major year-on-year migration program for Tier-1 AU banks to help them hollow out clients' legacy Murex platform into their target markets settlement platform leveraging Murex 3.1. Our project offers a unique opportunity to work across a wide range of niche technologies, like AWS, and DevOps alongside legacy and the latest Murex versions.
This specific role will also focus on Murex configuration management, version control and release automation levering Git, Jenkins, Ansible, MxConfig and MxPipeline.

• Manage Mx 3.1 environments and configurations across DEV and QA streams
• Environment preparation, refresh, rebuild, upkeep, maintenance, and upgrade activities on AWS cloud
