Position

As an experienced IT Project Management Officer, you will be in charge of the PMO activities for IT Production Services, and will be part of the Project management services team.

The PMO is responsible for assisting and supporting the senior management of the department in their day to day activities. This primarily involves the follow up and drive transverse activities, sourcing and reporting (among others). He/She works closely with senior managers of the entity and interacts frequently with other stakeholders based in Singapore and other regions where required.

The position requires autonomy and reliability in performing duties while maintaining close communication and relationship with all of the department teams and partners.

Main responsibilities

Reporting and Quality Assurance

• Propose and produce monthly dashboards for department activities and projects (Risk, Quality KPI, Alert, Planning, Budget)

Duties:

· Plan, manage and co-ordinate all activities related to the work programmes;

· Prepare and submit all programmes, schedule, method statement, technical proposal, risk assessment plans prior to commencement of work to the SO;

· At least five (5) years relevant local experience in managing road structure construction or maintenance and a degree in civil engineering recognised by the professional engineers (PE) board or qualifications acceptable by the commissioner of building control for registration as resident engineer

What you will be working on

You will take the lead in managing a team of officers responsible for overseeing the daily disbursement operations for various schemes. Your role will involve ensuring that payouts to beneficiaries are both prompt and accurate, maintaining high standards of efficiency and reliability in all transactions.

In this role, you will:

· Oversee daily disbursement activities to ensure timely and accurate payouts to beneficiaries.

· Ensure accuracy in payment adjustments and promptly rectify any flagged payment anomalies.

· Maintain smooth operations with timely responses to complex payment inquiries from the Case Management Team.

· Lead the implementation of system enhancements to optimise payment processes in line with strategic goals.

Responsible for centralized control over the financial operations related to payment in regional marketing agencies.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Funds Management: Timely monitoring of account balances within the region, and allocating funds according to business needs.

2. Cost Payment Management: Responsible for processing cost payments by reviewing or verifying bills against contracts to ensure legality, compliance, accuracy, and promptness of payments.
