Job Summary
As a Cosmetics Product Development Specialist, you will play a critical role in the development, testing, and commercialization of cutting-edge products. You’ll be responsible for formulating new skincare and personal care solutions, ensuring product efficacy and stability, and maintaining all necessary documentation throughout the development process. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth transitions from lab formulations to full-scale manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

• Product Formulation: Research and develop innovative skincare, cosmetic, and personal care products from concept to commercialization.
• Testing & Evaluation: Conduct efficacy and stability testing on all new formulations, ensuring they meet safety and quality standards.
• Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive product development documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• GMP Compliance: Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) in all product development activities.
• Hands-on Laboratory Work: Work directly in the lab, operating basic lab equipment and formulating new products.
• Production Support: Collaborate with the production team to help transition formulations to full-scale manufacturing, including support during plant trials and the start of production.
• Brand Support: Assist in the maintenance and improvement of current products in market, ensuring ongoing success and alignment with brand vision.
• Innovation & Research: Proactively research new raw materials, ingredients, and technical opportunities to enhance product offerings and stay ahead of trends.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field.
• Experience: At least 2 years of experience in product development, specifically within cosmetics, skincare, or personal care industries.
• Skills:

- Proficient in skincare, haircare and bodycare formulation and the use of basic lab equipment.

- Familiar with GMP and regulatory requirements for product development and manufacturing.

- Strong documentation and organizational skills, with attention to detail.

- Knowledge of stability and efficacy testing protocols.

- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

• Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
• 3+years of experience in product design or a related role, preferably within blockchain or fintech.
• Hands on experience on virtual reality & AI technologies.
• Experience in Data driven promotional strategy.
• Proficiency in design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite).
• Business level Mandarin speaking is required as the candidate will be required to liaise with Mandarin stakeholders, vendors and counterparts on daily basis in China & Hongkong region.
• Strong understanding of blockchain technology and its applications.
• Excellent analytical,problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsible for ByteDance automotive industry product sales, mainly focusing on passenger and non-passenger vehicle OEM, dealers, suppliers, mobility services providers. Products and solutions include LLM, cloud services, autonomous driving solutions, digital cockpit solutions, digital marketing solutions and global automotive solutions, etc.

Responsibilities

1. Mainly responsible for the sales of overseas automotive cloud solutions, including IaaS, PaaS and SaaS. Targeting passenger vehicles, commercial vehicles, dealers, mobility companies, as well as upstream and downstream service providers in the industry.

2. Products and solutions include LLM, cloud services, autonomous driving solutions, digital cockpit solutions, digital marketing solutions , etc.

3. Analyze the changes in customer needs, and provide suggestions for the company to improve its products and solutions.

Minimum qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

- Minimum 5 years of experience in KA in the automotive industry, familiar with LLM, cloud services, autonomous driving solutions, digital cockpit solutions, digital marketing solutions, and have customer resources.
