Main Role and Responsibilities

Planning and Design of Electrical engineering works for building services projects to deliver buildable design within a timely manner, and economical service to meet client’s requirement. Incumbent must influence across services without formal authority and manage the success of projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Design of electrical services such as sub-station, small power, lighting, security system, data cabling, public address system etc.
• Presentation of design concept report to client.
• Preparation of M&E cost estimate base on approved design scheme.
• Preparation of technical specifications and tender documentation.
• Co-ordination of M&E services within the office.
• Reviewing of shop drawings, material submissions and handle RFIs.

Prerequisites

• Degree in Electrical Engineering
• At least 3 years’ hands-on experience in design in an engineering consultancy firm for degree holder. Candidates with professional engineer registration would be considered for senior position.
• Experience in handling full cycle of building service projects and proven track record with strong background in Air-Conditioning and Mechanical Ventilation Design.
• Good understanding of Singapore Code of Practice and authority submission process.
• Confident and have strong presentation & communication skills

Ensure that the information is addressed clearly and objectively so that everyone involved has a full understanding of this information. Contribute to the definition if an equipment has or not condition to operate satisfactorily in order to ensure Operations reliability by participating in decisions or developing technical studies and informing to the involved ones the results of inspection reports, repairs or replacements recommended to restore the physical conditions in satisfactory levels.

Contribute to the hiring of 3rd parties to perform inspections on SPIE/NR13 Equipment and draw inspection isometrics by properly defining Scope of Work and participating in Kick-Off Meetings with potential suppliers.

Ensure the compliance with NR13 / MdB specifications in the fabrication of equipment by attending Hydrostatic Test at Manufacturer Workshop.

Ensure that all equipment is in condition to operate, complying with internal standards, NR13/SPIE specifications, by generating "punch items" lists as outputs of the initial inspections and following up the development of action plans on these lists.

Ensure the proper register of all Pressure Vessels, PSV, Boilers and all others static equipment by developing datasheets and inspections reports and filling in the integrity management software (SGI) with reliable and updated data on this equipment.

Ensure that Integrity Inspectors' and PSV Mechanical Technicians' work is performed in compliance with contract specifications and legislation, as well as complying with NR13/SPIE standards and procedures, by planning and following up the distribution of activities of inspection plans and providing technical recommendations when necessary.

Contribute to fleet performance improvement by constantly cooperating with other Tiers and Modec entities, to absorb and apply all lessons learnt from other Unit Phases (Commissioning, Operation, Maintenance, Decommissioning) for the new vessels in construction, as well as provide new lessons learnt and improvement opportunities discovered during the Pre-Ops project.

Sporadic follow ups in the shipyard during the Construction Phase and visits to vendors' factories might be required for these activities.

Well written and spoken english with advance portuguese is required.

Job Description:

• Able to work in a flexible, dynamic, fast growing ADG organization which serves customers across the globe and in key markets.
• Candidate will be part of ADG Division, Central Operations Team, in Singapore and will need to collaborate with Front End Fabs in Singapore & Europe, Back End Plants, OSAT's and Division Product Engineering Teams in Europe & Asia.
• Candidate will have to be highly motivated and able to work with colleagues in different countries and collaborate to improve cost, quality & service for ADG Business needs.

Profile:

• Bachelor's degree in Physics, Electrical/Electronic Engineering or Material Science/Engineering
• Familiar &/or having knowledge of Wafer Fab operations, process flows, parametric (T84) & electrical wafer testing (EWS)
• Knowledge in DoE, FMEA, SPC & 8D
