The primary responsibility of this role is to contribute to the delivery of an interactive multilingual language learning system. The role will be part of the research and development team to implement an automatic speech evaluation application that promotes mother tongue learning for students.

Candidates should have work experience in speech recognition and language learning, and a good knowledge of general machine learning, especially neural networks. Candidates with work experience in speech recognition and language learning will be advantageous, however training will be provided.

The Centre for Quantum Technologies (CQT), National University of Singapore is looking for researchers and engineers to develop next generation quantum computers based on trapped ions. There are multiple positions available at different levels with a diverse set of expertise. This program is funded under the National Quantum Processor Initiative, a flagship program under the National Quantum Office Singapore. The aim of the program is to develop a full stack quantum processor based on Yb-Ba ions. Responsibilities

• Assist and support Project Managers in the execution of projects as part of the project team
• Provide technical support in various stages of project, including conceptual design, design development, contract documentation, authority submissions, contract administration, site meetings, etc
• Prepare schematic design, layout, calculations, technical reports and specifications, etc
• Liaise with external consultant teams, architects, contractors and suppliers to resolve project issues
• Supervise and review the work of Assistant Engineers, Designers and/or Drafters in the project team
• Discuss and propose solutions to technical issues and improvement on design standards
• Develop technical knowledge and competency

Requirements

• Candidate should possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical)
• No work experience required.
• Preferably Entry Level specialized in Engineering - Electrical or equivalent.
