JOB SCOPE:

Administrative Support:

• Day-to-day administrative duties for office management.
• Organizing company activities, team-building activities, and corporate functions.
• Data entry and maintenance of procurement records and documentation.
• Overseeing the acquisition and restocking of office supplies, stationery, and consumables.
• Assisting with logistics and performing other ad hoc duties as assigned.

HR Support:

• Providing assistance to HRBPs on onboarding and offboarding administration of new hires and resignees.

Procurement Support:

• Data entry and maintenance of procurement records and documentation.
• Overseeing the acquisition and restocking of office supplies, stationery, and consumables. Other duties assigned by Office Manager.

REQUIREMENTS:

1. Minimum diploma in Business Administration or experience in a similar field.
2. Excellent administrative and coordination skills.
3. Good Computer skills MS Office; Word, Excel & PowerPoint
4. Ability to read and write Chinese is an advantage.

Primary Purpose:

Manage and supervise the daily activities of the team members in accordance to the production specifications and requirements. Ensure that the team meets standard in terms of operation efficiency, and service uptime. Develop the capability of team members.

Job Responsibilities:

• Supervise a group of cameraman and guide them in all video technical set up. Review and update SOPs.
• Conduct annual review and assessment of team members training needs.
• Guide crew in camera operation (i.e. general camera system set up, angles, distances, movement) and overall operations concerning video, audio and electrical for TV production.
• Perform duty as Technical Producer for major production whenever necessary.
• Ensure production meets broadcasting standard.
• Anticipate problem and provide solution on complex issues.
• Provide contingency planning and ensure deliverable of production setup are adhered.
• Keep abreast of broadcasting technology development and industry standards and workflows. Offers recommendations for upgrades and changes to ensure operations are kept relevant and competitive.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Film Production or Electronics/Electrical Engineering or Audio related field.
• At least 10 Years of Ligting experience is preferred.
• Possess in-depth working knowledge of overall unit operations concerning camera, video, audio, lighting and electrical for TV Broadcasting.
• Possesses knowledge of camera systems, lenses and camera support equipment will be added advantage.
• Familiar with international broadcast standard, preferably ITU (International Telecommunication Union) and EBU (European Broadcasting Union) broadcast standard.

What You Will Be Doing

To work with the Manager, Student Admissions (SA) to manage matters pertaining to admissions of students, challenge examination (CEX) waiver, credit recognition, student admission systems and IT projects.

• Assist to develop and maintain an effective system for the planning of all administrative operations within the department.
• Assist to structure and maintain the department so as to facilitate effective performance by department staff through optimum delegationand clearly established individual responsibilities and objectives.
• To ensure department staff perform their work effectively towards meeting the established objectives.
• To assess and monitor work in progress and assess work performance of staff towards meeting the established objectives.
• To manage the application and admission process, including processing of applications, course offers and acceptance, and appeals forprogrammes.
• To manage the process of verifying applicants’ academic data with MOE, local polytechnics and autonomous universities.
• To manage the acceptance of offer process for all selected applicants.
• To manage the course fee payment of new students.
• To monitor accurate and up-to-date statistics on admissions.
• To assist in preparation of any adhoc statistics request by internal or external stakeholders.
• To assist in the review of policies and procedures pertaining to student admissions.
• To develop and maintain an effective and efficient system for application and admission, CEX waiver and credit recognition.
• To review admission systems regularly to incorporate new policies and requirements.
• To liaise with Campus IT Services department on all admissions and related system enhancements and IT projects.
• Co-ordinator role for department events/processes, school, etc.
• Assist with other tasks, duties as necessary or assigned.
• Assist with University-wide activities as necessary or assigned (e.g. graduation, invigilation, orientation, open house, etc.).

Job Requirements

• Degree Holder or GCE ‘A’ Level or Polytechnic Diploma with at least 5 years of working experience, preferably administrative.
• Has some supervisory working experience.
• Effectively bilingual in English and Chinese will be an advantage as the role will involve communication with international students from China.
• PC literate, with Microsoft Office Skills.
• Self-motivated, positive attitude and take initiative.
• A good team player with good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Customer service oriented, warm, friendly disposition
• Resourceful, creative and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
