Formerly Very Special Arts Singapore, ART:DIS, established in 1993, is a non-profit dedicated to enhancing learning and livelihood opportunities for persons with disabilities (PwDs) through the arts. Our diverse programmes nurture the artistic interests of PwDs, bolstering their self-confidence and integrating them into a supportive community beyond formal education.

Our professional development pathways ensure sustainable impact, offering valuable work experience to empower PwDs for independent living. We run 3 centres in the community, and serve over 870 individuals annually through the 27 programmes we organise.

Role Overview

This role specifically focuses on growing livelihood opportunities for our artists with disabilities, mainly through the sale of their artwork merchandise, artwork license and commissioned work opportunities.

The sales channels include various public pop-up events e.g. Boutiques Fair, Clay Fest Market, and you would be responsible for the logistics preparation and sale of our merchandise at these events, engaging directly with public customers.

Part of your role also requires you to engage with corporates for commissioned art, corporate workshops and corporate gifting needs.

The role will report directly to the Executive Director covering the following work tracks:

• Sales of merchandise (@art.dis.studio | www.artdis-studio.com)
• Commission artworks;
• Corporate Workshops;
• Sale of artworks and artworks licenses;
• Account manage existing partnerships with government agencies, corporates and individuals, families and grow new leads.
• Manage administrative tasks such as issuing quotations and sales invoices, arranging logistic supports (product packing, printing, setting up in booth sales)
• Manage and participate in pop-up events for ARTDIS Studio

Key Responsibilities

1. Marketing

• Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
• Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts and reconciles with data storage systems.
• Maintains the physical condition of the warehouse by planning and implementing new design layout.

Responsibilities:

· To support sales team and coordinating sales-related activities within the company.

· Play an important part in maintaining good customer relationships by acting as an extension of the field sales force.

· Provide excellent organizational, administrative and communication skills, together with an ability to deliver high standards of customer service.

· To prepare for promotions and advertisement

· Arranging End user seminar / workshop, contact potential user for seminar and to arrange time and venue. To prepare the certificate for attendees

· To make sure that attendees from end user seminar / workshop go to the email blast list

· To arrange exhibitions and conferences

· Ensure that representatives have sufficient quantities of

· sales support material, such as product brochures or

· any presentation material; enable representative to win

Qualifications:

Responsibilities:

• Daily update of bank book.
• Report daily bank balance to regional team and update weekly forecast.
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliation.
• Perform AP functions including data entry for vendor bills, process bill payments and vendor SOA reconciliations on monthly basis.
• Prepare monthly and weekly AR aging report and monitor receivable collections.
• Update of petty cash record.
• Prepare required journal entries to facilitate monthly accounting closure.
• Prepare monthly financial reports and update P&L schedules.
• Assist in month-end closing activities.
• Assist in annual audit matters.
• Any additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor or manager.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 - 2 years of related working experience in finance/ accounting field.
• Problem-solving skills.
• Able to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
• Self-motivated and able to work in the team spirits. Eager to learn and inquisitive by nature.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel).
• Experience with NetSuite system and CargoWise system will be advantageous.
