• Providing regulatory advice to financial services clients such as banks/payments/Fintech companies (remittance, merchant acquisition, money-changing etc.) on areas relating to risk, regulations and compliance.
• Conducting compliance reviews and internal audits, and formulating recommendations for processes and controls to better comply with regulatory requirements, regulators’ expectations and industry/market practices.
• Providing regulatory advice on areas such as licensing, regulatory reporting, compliance framework development and operationalizing regulatory change.
• Providing support to financial services audit engagements on regulatory and compliance reporting.
• Helping to build our Compliance Outsourcing Services.
• Working with our strategic alliance partner to formulate new services / product to the market (e.g. regulatory technology / platform).
• Working on business developments or new market opportunities (e.g. new clients, services, proposal formulation).
• Managing key stakeholder relationships, including communication of the scope of work, findings and observations, industry updates.

About You

• At least 5 years of banking regulatory or external audit experience in a big 4 audit firm, regulator or financial institution. Previous employment with regulator(s) will be highly preferred.
• Good understanding of the banks/payments/Fintech companies (remittance, merchant acquisition, money-changing etc.) landscape.
• Experience in local MAS regulatory requirements preferred. This includes Banking Act, Payments Act, Individual Accountability and Conduct, Securities and Futures Act, Financial Advisers Act, amongst others.
• Experienced in performing internal audits or internal control reviews.

Marketing/Branding Responsibilities:

1) Donor management

• Establish and maintain a database of donors, categorised by corporate (active/passive), individuals, (active/passive) and lapsed donors
• Act as a key liaison with donors, co-ordinating and working with fundraising volunteers to maintain regular contact through emails (templated by category) and follow up on fundraising leads
• Actively grow our corporate network and execute programmes to encourage corporate partnerships, and in turn, donations
• Generate monthly report based on the categories of donor

2) Fundraising activity management

• Annual budget planning and forecasting of fundraising calendar of events
• Brainstorm, set up and execute fundraising initiatives and campaigns
• Work with various departments within SOSD to produce fundraising publicity material for dissemination through various media channels and outlets
• Responsible for ongoing communication, tracking fundraising projects’ progress and status vs. schedule, timings, delays etc. and ensure that fundraising project trackers are always updated
• Manage logistics of fundraising events (virtual or in-ground) and ensure full compliance with regulations and policies, working with volunteers to steer project management to final delivery
• Manage, monitor and update all fundraising activities and events timelines and set realistic expectations with stakeholders
• Manage Sponsor-A-Dog Programme
• Create P&L report for individual campaigns and events

3) Adhere to SOSD Fundraising SOPs

• Monitor internal fundraising workflows, identify and make recommendations for areas for improvement
• Follow agreed workflows and utilise relevant project management tools

4) Volunteer management

• Manage a team of fundraising volunteers and assist in recruitment of suitable volunteers for the team

5) Healing Paws

• Oversee and support Healing Paws programme where needed

The Engineering Manager will lead and manage a multi-disciplinary engineering team to provide high quality design and engineering knowledge and effective project management skills to support the ongoing project activities, and to provide the complete analysis and design tasks as assigned the company Management. Responsibilities:
