Since October 2011, Thye Hua Kwan Moral Charities (THKMC) was incorporated as a charity with an IPC status to provide multiple social and welfare services to the community at large.

THKMC provides assistance to the various groups in our community through more than 60 programmes and services for the elderly and the sick, families, persons with disabilities, and children. We help anyone in need with full respect to their race, colour, creed, language, culture and religion. We have more than 90 programmes and services, reaching out to more than 55,000 people in the community.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

• Document and maintain records of clients' learning and development

• Identify new teaching and learning approaches based on observations• Implement appropriate teaching and caregiving methods based on emerging sector trends, technologies and tools

• Implement classroom management strategies

• Implement developmentally appropriate teaching, learning and caregiving activities aligned to the relevant programme frameworks

• Attend to clients' needs in their activities of daily living• Identify areas for improvements for routine caregiving

• Perform basic and planned care interventions

• Coordinate activities with families and community stakeholders

• Engage with caregivers to facilitate the continuity of care and learning between home and Centre

• Foster relationships with families to facilitate the continuity of care and learning between home and Centre

• Implement Centre, caregiver and community initiatives and programmes

• Co-develop appropriate teaching and caregiving methods based on emerging sector trends, technologies and tools

• Enhance the learning environment with developmentally appropriate learning materials and resources• Identify areas of improvements for caregiver and community initiatives and programmes

• Participate in professional development and service quality improvement activities

• Participate in quality improvement audits and activities

• Maintain inventories and equipment for centre's programmes

• Apply the health, safety and hygiene practices in accordance with standards and procedures

• Comply with infection prevention and control practices in performing client care activities

• Maintain cleanliness and safety of classrooms and common centre facilities

• NITEC or GCE ‘O' or ‘N' Levels.

Job Scope

Reporting to HOD Operations, you are expected to identify areas of improvements in these programmes, implement quality control measures and develop information materials for distribution to clients and volunteers, at HQ and on-site.

Main Job Role:

1. Plan and develop Tri Love Elderly (TLE) Programmes and Operations
2. New TLE Programme Development (involving volunteers) on site
3. Programme Administrative and Coordination Duties
4. Community Outreach and Engagement
5. Stakeholder Relationship (Internal and External)

Key duties and responsibilities:

● Manage the day-to-day Tri Love Elderly (TLE) programme operations at the assigned work site and ensure that it runs smoothly and efficiently

● To plan and develop the Tri Love Elderly (TLE) operations of daily programmes and ad hoc activities such as excursion, visit to nursing homes etc.

● To develop new TLE programme and activities and coordinate the deployment of volunteers to support programme operations on site

● To perform programme administrative and coordination duties

● To collaborate with external agencies and work partners for community outreach and engagement activities

● To participate in and support cross-department events such as volunteer appreciation, fundraising events etc.

Pre-requisites:

General:

Technical

Salary range: $2,800 to $3,300

• Determine the management plans, policies and business objectives related to the management of the Company and responsible for the implementation and achievement of results.

Requirements:

• Master Degree and above in Business Management or Engineering.
• At least 5 to 8 years’ experience in Management roles.
• Have good knowledge on designing instrument system and program software.
• High level of business awareness and acumen.
• Understanding the intricacies of financial management and management.
• Excellent Leadership, communication, organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong crisis management and conflict mediation skills.
• Bilingual with proficiency in English and Mandarin to liaise with clients.

STRATEGY

• Formulate strategic vision, mission and strategy of the business unit, in alignment with GSL strategy and DSC Global/DSC APAC strategy
• Participate in strategic planning and develop short to long-term (1-5 years) plans for Business growth and protecting our three bottomlines
• Organization assessment towards creating x-functional synergies and managing resources to ensure future organizational readiness
• Establish Country Business Reviews process in partnership with Country Champions community to review Country business performance and Strategic agenda

ANALYTICS & BUSINESS INSIGHTS

i) Insights Generation

• Coordinate implementation of data analysis & analytics plans to analyze business intelligence data from different sources, to inform business decisions, support process reviews and drive actionable insights
• Assist in implementing policies and procedures regarding collating and analysing data, develop new data analysis processes and assess analytics on an ongoing basis

ii) Value Identification & Scaling

• Develop Data Analytics as a product offering to SL customer as part of renewal or RFQ or ongoing basis so as to provide DHL with a differentiating factor / competitive advantage
• Identifying and Scaling of the established use cases to all relevant SL accounts (Scaling across network)

iii) Continous Improvement & Commercialization

• Drive internal Continous improvement initiatives by leveraging data from multiple sources (e.g. WMS, TMS, Kronos)
• Value capturing the benefits created/realized with Customers and Internal operations; and Commercializing the value generated with Customers (and contributing to CI Targets in Customer Contracts)

NETWORK PERFORMANCE & IMPROVEMENT

• Develop globally aligned strategy for MRP (Management Review Process) in APAC
• Deploy best-in-class Performance visibility dashboard via means of single data source and Power BI tool
• Establish framework for process productivity assessment and proactively manage improvement plans
• Drive continuous improvement activities for both Service Performance and Shipment Visibility based on QMS prinicples of Root Cause Identification & Resolution
• Present and implement operational improvement projects to increase First Time Right performance across the APAC network
• Develop operations Heat Map review to drive operations improvement and service excellence
• Establish best practice sharing strategy cross country, accounts and global to drive improve customer experience

CHANGE MANAGEMENT

• Lead by example with a Can Do Mindset to drive change management through the SL network
• Support Countries and sites with change management knowledge and activities
• Drive change management through the APAC network, implementing a new way or performance reporting using the SL BI tool & Digital customer Experience tool (MySC)
• Own the SL BI tool/platform roll out towards our country operations in APAC
• Drive the SL BI tool/platformroadmap, engaging with the global super user community and proving feedback to all new customer agreements to ensure we sell our standard services

COMMUNICATIONS

• Create awareness of the SL standard and product across the network though Snack & Learn, Webinar
• Design, drive and publish the SL Newsletter

Youle Mandarin is a young and dynamic Pre-School and Primary School Mandarin Enrichment School. We specialize in Mandarin programmes for children ages 1 to 12.

• Be at the forefront in handling customers’ inquiries, maintaining relationships with existing customers, and coordinating teachers’ and students’ attendance records
• Have to actively drive student recruitment and enrolment of students as well as organize and plan the class schedules for the centre
• Assist in generating daily customer inquiries, student enrolment, class attendance and other relevant centre operational statistics reports
• Assist in all other routine admin work required in the centre daily operations
