OVERVIEW:

The Operations Director is overall responsible for overseeing the successful running of the Domestic / Cross Border Operations of the company, which includes Air and Ocean Freight operations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

· Provide leadership & decision making to the operations departments

· Setting of goals & objectives for operations and product to achieve annual volume growth targets in conjunction with sales and participates in company marketing and sales efforts

· Manage the integration & implementation of new structures developed in operations

· Manage resources including tackling staff performance issues and identification of training needs, reviewing productivity and local recruitment

· Ensure all transports are carried out within predetermined cost and security standards and perform annual service and cost reviews to ensure we meet market requirements

· Ensure the operations departments adhere to all quality requirements e.g. operational compliance & certifications, ISO, Bizsafe Star, etc. and work with Finance to adhere to financial compliance requirements

· Prepare monthly reports relating to productivity, profitability, compliance etc.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

· A Diploma / Advance Diploma / BSc. degree in business and supply chain preferred or their equivalent.

· 10+ years of air and ocean freight products

· Highly motivated leader who is assertive and adept at working in a competitive, challenging and fast-paced work environment

The Product Development Director will report directly to the Director, Product Management and work closely with the rest of the Technology team, making your mark in a number of ways:

• Drive the strategic direction for the product development of Owner Supplied Equipment in alignment with key business objectives: Meet or exceed our financial targets, be the preferred partner for tech and cloud in APAC, be the place where talent wants to be, and be a global leader in safety and sustainability.

• Examine existing technologies for marginal gain and commercial benefit. This will involve continuously working towards simplification and cost reduction of the AirTrunk product, whilst driving the decarbonisation efforts of the supply chain.
• Drive innovation within the product development function, across the company and externally within the data centre industry, our community and our partners. Research and explore the addition of new products to the OSE categories and collaborate with the masterplanning and design teams to future-proof AirTrunk’s product offering, to fulfil customer requirements in a functional and innovative way.
• Investigate new and developing technologies across the wide spectrum of infrastructure industries and an in-depth understanding of our industry, our customers and our vendor’s products and R&D initiatives., with a particular focus on clean energy technologies and energy storage systems.
• Drive consolidation and unification of products to drive the AirTrunk standardisation and speed to market philosophy.
• Manage the Owner Supplied Equipment Partnerships with all vendors. This will involve developing market and location-based intel around availability and costs and developing a strategy for standard product availability across all regional locations (Australia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan, Malaysia, South Korea). This involves organising and chairing regular vendor meetings, visiting sites and manufacturing facilities.
• Manage the processes and documentation related with the technical specification, approval and continuous improvement of the Owner Supplied Equipment products as part of the overall AirTrunk product offering, ensuring alignment and collaboration with internal stakeholders (Customer Solutions, Design, Sustainability, Procurement, Construction and Operation)
• Maintain and upgrade data driven information repository and reporting mechanisms for the AirTrunk product

Your Day to Day

• Manage and expand a team of direct reports to deliver strategic initiatives & support project delivery efforts.
• Produce vendor briefs in order to develop designs from feasibility stage through concept, scheme and detailed design stages, ensuring continuity of design
• Inspection of new products and applications

Requirements

What you’ll bring:

• At least 7-9 years of digital and performance marketing experience
• Strong working experience in digital media planning and buying, Integrated media knowledge would be a plus.
• Experience working in client relationship management, preferably within multi-market (APAC / SEA) environment
• Able to challenge and provide intelligent feedback to clients and local markets
• Experience developing communication strategy, in either a marketing or media environment

3-months of Immerse Internship Programme

Applications are now open for the Silverdale Internship Programme 2025 (Investor Relations), with rolling admissions. This unique opportunity will immerse you in the fast-paced environment of a renowned Singapore-based fixed income fund house. Over the course of three months, you will gain critical skills to think like a money manager and work on product management, business development, and investor relations. You will learn from seasoned professionals and actively participate in real-life investor-focused activities.

We manage funds across:

· Open-ended bond funds (investment grade, high yield, thematic)

· Fixed Maturity Funds (enhanced return fixed tenure, target return funds)

· Bespoke Funds customized for specific investor goals

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of investment decks and investor reports, including pitch books
• Monitor, analyse, and report on the fund performance and elucidating it to investors
• Supporting firm’s media and digital strategy
• Assisting in managing investor education program and addressing investor inquiries
• Debrief on market updates and conduct competition analysis
• Generating leads for new business development
• Assist in preparing and delivering presentations to investors, including institutions, family offices, and distributors.

Skills/Qualifications

• Expected GPA of 4.0/5.0 or equivalent
• Penultimate year student
• Currently pursuing an MBA, a post-graduate degree in Wealth Management/Finance or in the final year of undergraduate studies, and residing in Singapore
• Strong understanding of financial markets with preference for those with investment experience
• Excellent networking, communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, adaptable to tight deadlines and real-world uncertainties
• Fluency in Mandarin will be an advantage

Our Energy & Utilities practice focuses on providing financial advisory services to conventional power, renewables, water, waste and utilities projects. The role involves:

• Project and Engagement Delivery

Requirements⠀

• Min 8 years’ of professional experience in energy and utilities infrastructure project finance and PPPs, gained preferably within investment bank, big four deal advisory practice or project finance advisory firms;
• Prior experience in M&A or project financing of power projects shall be an advantage;
• ASEAN-based project experience is advantageous
• Experience in preparing bankability feasibility studies / business cases for infrastructure projects, including PPP transactions;
• Thorough understanding of risk analysis and allocation for project finance and PPPs;
• Knowledge of project finance documentation and experience in taking projects to financial close;
• Result-oriented approach with hands-on execution capability;
• Ability to manage and mentor staff on engagements, and providing on the job training and knowledge sharing;
• Strong project management skills as they relate to managing engagements outcomes- high quality deliverables are produced on a timely basis and within budget;
• Strong client and relationship-building skills;

Key Responsibilities:

Examination Management

• Perform technical reviews and checks on the SCAQ professional and foundation exam papers.
• Work with examiners or co-examiners in the setting and revision of examination questions, answers and marking guides for the technical modules and ensure that the examination questions are set at an appropriate level that meets the standard and rigor required for the programme.
• Assist with exam-day administration, including resolution of invigilation matters.
• Manage the exam marking processes, including liaising with markers, managing of exam appeals according to applicable frameworks and policies.
• Analyse exam results, pass rates for presentation to the examination committees.
• Support the secretarial duties of workgroups and committees, including material preparation, presentation at meetings, etc.

University Accreditation

• Work with educational institutions based locally and overseas on the review of syllabus and course requirements to support the accreditation and reaccreditation of university degrees according to prescribed frameworks and policies.
• Communicate and engage stakeholders in educational institutions on relevant changes and updates to the programme

International Recognition and Programme Reviews

• Work with external stakeholders such as overseas professional bodies and government agencies.
• Participate in the review, assessment and /or negotiation process in connection with module interchangeability, mutual credit recognition, mutual recognition agreements and/ or reciprocity agreements with professional accountancy bodies globally.

Strategic Partnerships:

• Identify and forge strategic partnerships with educational institutions, industry associations, and relevant organisations to enhance the programme's credibility and reach both locally and overseas.
• Collaborate with partners to co-create initiatives that drive candidate engagement and enrolment.

Other projects and events

Participate in various department/ institute projects and events relating to the programme.

Requirements:

• A good Accountancy degree from a recognised university is preferred.
• At least 3 to 6 years of working experience in accountancy related fields. Having experience in education or adult learning would be an advantage.
• Able to work independently as well as in a team.
• Meticulous with a strong attention to details
• Ability to prepare and carry-out well-articulated presentations.
• Good written and oral skills.
• Willingness to adapt to a dynamic and evolving environment.
