Role Summary

Job Responsibilities:

Review of contractual documents and technical specifications

To assist the Senior Project Engineer/Manager to conduct kick-off, pre-project/project meetings to ensure team members are clear on the objectives, deliverables, quality, lead-time, complexities and carry out the project execution and contingency plan, if any

Plan and assist Senior Engineer/Manager to monitor the daily progress of activities to achieve on or before schedule, ie. by comparing the planned vs actual progress status, identify critical activities, improvements and/or contingency plans if any

Attend site meetings, interacting with clients, understanding their needs and requirements, and representing them to the team

Work together with clients and translate their requirements into an actionable plan with the team

Work closely and communicate effectively with project manager and/or other project team members to create and deliver quality solutions for the clients

• Responsible for taking over the project from tender / sales team for execution
• Prepare PEPL’s Scope of work and create project schedule based on the scope - document submission list, material submission list, material lead time, installation and testing period
• Create Document submission & Material submission list and prepare submissions
• Design & review the drawings and documents for timely submission to customer
• Monitor submissions & follow up with customer for timely approval of the documents & material submissions
• Prepare Purchase Requisitions for purchase of necessary project materials on time and coordinate with purchase team and our subcontractor / supplier
• Plan the construction site manpower requirement together with Superintendent
• Coordinate with Superintendent / Construction Manager / Site supervisor for site work activities installation, testing & commissioning and progress report

Requirement

• Administer the Minor and Major Project Grants under the Government Projects. This includes assisting and supporting the Grants Team in the management of the grant cycles; assessment and evaluation of grant applications; content review and project management of successful grant projects; and updating of the grants database.
• Respond to general enquiries from public on the Grants Scheme and/or the Youth kickstarter Fund.
• Assist the Assistant Director and the Grants Team in the implementation of approved recommendations from the Grants Review, including but not limited to the updating of grants guidelines, SOPs, forms, and templates.
• Assist with the production of grant-related visuals and/or marketing materials (e.g., EDMs, videos etc).
