Role Description
This is a full-time role for a Customer Service Officer at SH Cogent Logistics Pte Ltd. The Customer Service Officer will be responsible for day-to-day tasks such as processing shipping documentation, providing customer service to clients and ensuring smooth operations throughout the container haulage process.
1. Attend customer inquiries and ensure accurate capture of job requirements for all orders.
2. Advise customers on delivery schedules and inventory-related matters.
3. Maintain business relationships with customers and manage customer accounts at a higher level.
4. Communicate customer requirements to the Operations team for execution.
5. Create trucking jobs and monitor their progress to ensure deadlines or specified dates are met.

7. Handle all documentation and administrative duties, ensuring proper filing of invoices and job sheets.
8. Ensure the accuracy and precision of billing processes and maintain billing system data integrity.
9. Assist in accounts receivable processes, including billing, issuing invoices, debit notes, and credit notes.
10. Maintain and update inventory reports and undertake monthly account closings.
11. Support senior management by gathering data and figures for financial or relevant reporting.
12. Communicate and coordinate with appointed third parties regarding job orders.
13. Assist in permit declarations for job orders when required.
14. Assist in preparing ad-hoc quotations or commercial rate requests.
Requirements
- Diploma or equivalent in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in customer service/ shipping documentation role in a 3PL company.
- Strong knowledge of Hauler operations, transportation logistics, and customs clearance procedures in Singapore.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, colleagues, and external partners.
- Experience with TradeNet is a plus.
