Purpose:

The IACUC Compliance officer will provide compliance and administrative support to the IACUC in facilitating its role and functions in the oversight of NUS animal care and use programme.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Perform administrative functions at the IACUC Office e.g. co-ordinate meetings, produce monthly (at a minimum) IACUC meeting minutes, liaise with external agencies, update IACUC databases, compile data for IACUC etc.
2. Facilitate IACUC review of animal use protocols including preliminary review of protocols and correspondence with researchers on IACUC requirements.

1. At least a BSc honours degree in biology, life sciences or similar field of study; or diploma/degree in veterinary technology, science or medicine preferred.
