[What the role is]

You will work with a team of officers in the Radiation Monitoring and Modelling Branch, under the Radiation Monitoring & Services Division, to perform radiological dispersion modelling to support incident preparedness and response operations, as well as maintain a network of ambient radiation monitoring sensors.

[What you will be working on]

You will be responsible for the following:

• Design and simulate scenarios, and operate dispersion modelling systems for both the air and water environment
• Work with relevant stakeholders and be involved in managing projects on development of modelling systems to suit Singapore’s needs. This includes understanding model algorithms, and assessing merits of various models used in other countries
• Collaborate with local/overseas institutes to carry out research and development work to enhance atmospheric and hydrological modelling capability
• Engage and work closely with relevant stakeholders to formulate a framework and strategy for radiological impact assessment for Singapore.
• Support the maintenance and operations of an ambient radiation monitoring network, including troubleshooting of network and equipment faults and the development of a predictive maintenance regime to increase the efficiency of operations
• Support development work in radiological dose and environmental impact assessment
• Manage vendors / contractors for the development of radiological dispersion modelling system and maintenance of sensor network to ensure alignment in system integration and operability
• Participate in inter-disciplinary and regional projects as required

[What we are looking for]

LOGISTICS

• Oversee the day to day deliveries of goods done by the delivery man to the various customers and step in if any issues arise
• Oversee the running of the warehouse and store operations
• Supervise the Goods receipts from Suppliers
• Monitor the maintenance of the Delivery vehicle

SALES & SERVICE SUPPORT

• Overall responsibility for company LinkedIn page including developing and posting content and ensuring identified objectives are met.
• Serve as primary point of contact when there are escalated customer issues related to goods quality, customer service and mishaps.
• Coordinate commissioning of equipment and closing of preventive maintenance and breakdown calls
• Support marketing activities such as brochure updating, content writing for social media, etc.

PROCUREMENT

• Maintain the Inventory for the company. Manage and perform analysis of inventory and ensure goods are ordered in time and in appropriate quantities. Ensure effective utilization of inventory and maintain solid inventory data
• Negotiate with freight forwarders for competitive rates
• Track and ensure that goods discrepancies are rectified by suppliers in time

HR

• Keep track of staffing requirements for the company and hire new talent as needed to correspond with specific duties and skill sets
• Identify skills gaps for all employees in the company, propose relevant training courses, negotiate with training providers and register employees for the trainings
• Do annual bench marking of employee salaries against identified competitor companies
• rrange and monitor background screening of new employees, authorise additional charges as appropriate
• Quarterly scoring of Performance Bonus for all Team members

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or similar
• 10 – 15 years related work experience, preferably in the Healthcare industry
• High level of Integrity & Confidentiality

Responsibilities:

• Working with the CEO, Product Owners, and partners to lead technology build, evaluate technology trade-offs, oversee vendor engineering engagements, and deliver features and capabilities aligned to the business model to build on the minimum viable product (MVP) to successful global rollout.

Requirements:

Applicant needs to be comfortable with 6 months to 1 year contract duration.

Good to have below skillsets:

• Expert knowledge of mainstream cloud provider (eg AWS / firebase), Cloud-native services, and elastic infrastructure.
• Expert background in Javascript/Typescript technology stack, NodeJS, Next.js and NestJS,distributed systems, authentication mechanisms, asynchronous event processing, message queues, and architecture patterns.
• Knowledgeable on modern object orientated programming practises including entity frameworks, dynamic reflection, and reusable interfaces.
• Familiarity with 3rd party system integrations via APIs (HTTP/REST)
• Familiar with OWASP, secure by design, secure coding practises, code scanning, unit testing, dependency management (deprecation,vulnerabilities, licensing)
• Familiarity with DevOps, Infrastructure-as-Code including continuous integration, delivery,deployment and assurance.
• Experience in front-end React and JavaScript/Typescript presentation frameworks
• Experience with operating highly-available production financial systems
• Familiarity with SQL & NoSql databases, DNS, service discovery, and related infrastructure components
• Hands on experience on blockchain protocols, consensus, wallet and key management, and higher order principles (tokens, ERC, NFTs)
