We are seeking an energetic Security Engineer II to serve as a technical resource and leader. This position has two components and supports both our team that Onboards new customers and our MSS team that manages security devices for our customers. 

Onboarding, 60% of this role:  this part of the position centers on security and availability of customer data as it is brought into the Proficio SIEM. The Security Engineer II will assist in working with new clients as they transition to our ProSOC service. Purpose and Scope

• Provide performance and process expertise and operational excellence in Energy & Utilities assets (Cogen Power plant, Demin Water and Steam production, Boiler etc) management to ensure good plant availability, reliability and optimization.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

• Carry out plant performance monitoring, troubleshooting and optimization for Energy & Utilities assets (Combine Cycle Power Plants, Utilities Plants, Energy from Waste Plant, Wood Chip Boiler etc) to ensure good plant availability, reliability and optimization.
• Establish and continuous improve the monitoring matrix to enable detection of short term and long term process and performance abnormality. Work closely with O&M team to address the issues.
