• Take charge of procuring and sourcing of raw materials.
• Coordinate with suppliers/ freight forwarders on import/ export of raw materials.
• Interacting with internal department/ external parties (forwarders & suppliers) related to all POs (covers end-to-end ordering processes).

Qualification & Experiences:

• Diploma/bachelor’s in engineering (Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, Precision or Industrial Engineering).
• At least 3 years of experience as an engineer in the manufacturing assembly environment.
• Good communication skills to perform mentoring and coaching to production staff.
• Good knowledge in problem-solving methodology.

The Role

The Software Engineering team is a central part of Javelin that delivers and maintains the trading and risk management software systems. The role is like a Front Office Developer role at an investment bank or hedge fund. · Responsible for site safety and site management

· Supervise all the work sites, including road openings, all works on public roads, signing arrangement and reinstatement works.

· Preparation of construction schedule and monitoring of work progress.

· Coordinate and supervise the civil work progress.

What will you do?

• Lead team of Software Quality Engineers
• Create and maintain test cases, test plans and test reports to ensure they are up to date with project and security requirements
• Conduct testing on new features and file defects
• Perform various tests such as manual, functional, performance, exploratory tests, UAT
• Assist in resolving issues during testing and production stages
• Coordinate with in-house development team, vendors, and users to conduct tests such as User Acceptance test, systems integration tests and performance tests.
• Drive adoption of relevant, up-to-date technologies, practices and tools in Agile software projects
• Contribute in technical discussions and solutioning sessions
• Maintain the Quality Standards of the software at every stage.
• Execute both manual and automated test scripts

What are we looking for?

• Degree in software engineering, computer engineering, electrical engineering or infocomm-related discipline.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in software quality testing
• Proficient in testing techniques, test-driven development, continuous integration and continuous delivery
• At least 3 years of experience in leading a team
• Experience with open source automated testing frameworks (preferably Cypress) and open source performance testing tools (e.g. k6) is preferred
• Experience in Agile development teams, employing relevant methodologies and practices such as Scrum
