Responsibilities and Duties:

General Purchasing

· Work with users to understand user’s requirement, source for product and services according to the requirement and facilitate product and service evaluation.

· Process purchase requisitions and prepare purchase orders / contracts for all approved requisitions

Contract Management

Vendor Management

· Solicitate user’s feedback on vendors performance and product/ service quality to improve the performance and product/service quality

Main purpose of the job  

The Global Procurement Lead for Upstream Processes will provide leadership to the Global Procurement function in particular to the Source-To-Contract, Supplier Lifecycle Management, Risk management and potentially other upstream service lines and related to Procurement, ensuring the successful execution of functional goals. Job Description:

1. Implementation of an Electronic Procurement System :

Support the Assistant Director in setting up the e-procurement system to facilitate University-wide purposes:

• To assist in the project management for the project from procurement, design, conduct testing & commissioning and implementation of the system alongside the IT and Finance teams and the appointed supplier.
• Develop change management and communications plan with training programme for end users
• Manage Supplier onboarding programme to the system.

2. Procurement Operations :

The Manager will partner with designated departments in SUSS to deliver a full spectrum of procurement activities to meet the dynamic needs of the businesses:
