• Oversee the purchasing system, Costpoint, and provide strategic direction on procurement actions, approval workflows and thresholds, and tracking related to Purchase Requests and Purchase Orders.
• Collaborate with the Finance team to ensure procurement management aligns with corporate standards.

Compliance Management

• Stay informed about Import/Export regulations, coaching and training staff to ensure compliance.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Purchasing/Supply Chains, Business, or a related field required
• Minimum of 5 years of work experience in purchasing, ideally in FMCG, preferably in meat/cheese/cold profucts.
• International food import & export experience
• Proven track record of managing a significant cost of goods with a strong motivation to deliver cost savings.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the purchasing of all goods and services.
• Develop, maintain and oversee procurement policies and workflows, ensuring compliance with business and legal standards.
• Implement best practices in procurement and vendor management to support operational objectives.
• Monitoring and evaluating the performance and quality of suppliers and vendors.
• Collaborate with key business stakeholders to lead contract negotiations, and develop negotiation approaches, fallback positions, and acceptable terms and conditions.
• Improve procurement performance in terms of cost savings, supplier sustainability and sourcing process.
• Manage all EOI/RFQ/RFP and tenders processes for all business services based on operation plans.
• Identifying and resolving any issues or problems related to procurement.
• Preparing of procurement reports and documents.
• Managing and overseeing the procurement team and their activities.
• Applicant with material management operations, such as inventory control, warehousing, logistic and transportation will be added advantage

Requirements

• Min Diploma or Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business Management, or equivalent from a recognised institution.
• Min 4- 5 years of relevant experience and capacity preferably in healthcare.
• Strong negotiation and analytical skills, resourceful, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Able to start timmediate or short notice
