Roles & Responsibilities

• Purchase of consumables, equipment and spare parts, etc. from local or overseas vendors.
• Source and negotiate with vendors to obtain the most favorable prices, delivery schedules, and payment terms.
• Solicit overseas quotations for sales divisions.
• Issue and manage official purchase orders.
• Coordinate import shipments and clearance. Prepare and check all import shipping documents to ensure that they are completed and comply with import rules and regulations.
• Issue local and overseas GRPOs.
• Issue letters of credit (LC) to suppliers.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, transporters, and logistics divisions on container trucking and stuffing arrangements.

Responsibilities:

• Participates in the Offer and Contract Reviews regarding the risks analysis associated to the project and to the purchasing terms and conditions.

Role Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Purchasing Engineer to join our team. Qualifications:

1. Minimum Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably in the automotive industry.
3. Strong understanding of procurement processes, supplier management, and contract negotiation.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external suppliers in Taiwan, China, Europe and USA.
