As an Analytics Engineer on the Data team, you will help drive Grasshopper's data-driven decision making culture with your strong background in data analytics on our self-serving BI platform. You will be the bridge between non-tech stakeholders and engineers, simplifying complex business problems into essential, actionable items with a high level of collaboration.

As a key member of the Data team, you'll:

• Recognise common analytical problems in financial trading and design reusable self-served data models to speed up data queries, reporting and dashboarding processes.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to:Address root business problems and advise them with proper data models to solve it.
• Propose / design dashboards to assist with decision-making processes.
  Ensure data reliability of these data models / dashboards.
• Help data engineers get a better understanding of business operations.
• Address bottlenecks and improve the current analytic workflows.

We'd love for you to have:

• At least 3 years of experience in analysing and transforming data with SQL
• Hands on experience with at least one BI Platform: i.e Looker, Tableau, Power-BI
• Experience with Python and awareness of basic SWE best practices
• Good story telling skills, using data and visualisation
• The ability to communicate with stakeholders of all levels

Nice to have:

• Hands on experience with data transformation frameworks (dbt, Databricks)

Job Description

• Monitor and maintain office network infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and security through regular maintenance and updates.
• Manage incidents, change requests and support projects related to network and system operations where needed
• Act as an escalation, point for customer problems & contact for service issues, and commit to SLA requirements of our ticketing system, ensuring timely resolution of technical issues.

Job Requirements

Responsibilities

1. Commissioning:

• Conduct Installation Quality inspection of Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) Systems, including indoor and outdoor units, refrigerant piping, electrical connections, and control wiring.
• Conduct system commissioning to ensure proper functionality, efficiency, and performance.
• Collaborate with the project team to ensure timely and accurate commissioning of VRF systems.
• Provide technical guidance and support to technicians during the installation process.
• Keep accurate records of project related information, including commissioning reports, customer interactions.

2. Troubleshooting and Maintenance:

• Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to VRF systems, including Refrigerant leaks, electrical faults, and control malfunctions.
• Perform regular maintenance tasks, such as cleaning filters, checking Refrigerant levels, and inspecting system components for wear or damage.
• Utilize diagnostic tools and software to identify and troubleshoot system Problems efficiently.
• Coordinate with the customer and internal teams to schedule and conduct Maintenance visits as required.
• Replace or repair defective parts and components to restore system Functionality.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used and services provided.

3. Technical Support and Guidance:

• Provide technical support and guidance to customers regarding VRF system Operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Conduct training sessions for customers to ensure they understand the proper use and maintenance of VRF systems.
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries and provide effective solutions to their technical concerns.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers by delivering excellent customer service.

4. Safety and Compliance:

• Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations while working on VRF systems.
• Follow proper procedures for handling refrigerants, electrical components, and hazardous materials.
• Stay updated on industry standards, codes, and regulations to ensure compliance.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and report any potential hazards or concerns.

Requirements

• Minimum Nitec in Facility Technology (Air Conditioning & Refrigeration)
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the commissioning, and troubleshooting of VRF systems.
• Strong knowledge of VRF technology, refrigeration principles, and electrical systems.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and software for system Troubleshooting.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy equipment.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
