Great opportunity to join a growing and global team that is bringing new and high-quality data and rating services to investors, focusing on the estimation of climate risks’ financial materiality. Climate physical and transition risks will be taking an increasing part of investors’ portfolios and corporates’ balance sheets in the near future, creating a need for assessing and pricing them.

· Monitor computation runs and collaborate with the business team to verify outputs.
· Maintain the AWS cloud infrastructure supporting the ETL and computation processes.
· Develop tools and reports to validate computation outputs.
· Ensure the resulting code is readable, robust (with automated tests), efficient, modular and expandable for new computations.
· Ensure the computation code is streamlined and can run with minimal oversight.
Requirements
· 5+ years of work experience in a technical field.
· 5+ years of Python programming experience in a production environment.
· Proficiency with AWS and Linux.
· Proficiency with relational and non-relational databases.
· Experience on full lifecycle software development is a strong plus.
· Proficiency with R would be a plus.
· Degree in Computer Science or Engineering preferred.
· Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and perseverance in troubleshooting.
