Job Description:

• Oversee effective implementation of ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001, ISO27001, ISO17025, MID-D, LNE, QC80000, IECEx80079 Management Systems throughout the company, including any business accreditations
• Maintain the Quality Manuals and Quality Procedures and ensure contents are appropriate for business
• Analyse current and future procedural needs of the business
• Organise and manage the plant internal audit system and the corrective action reporting system
• Conduct Quality Systems audits and assist in training/guidance to other auditors
• Host external Quality System audits
• Coordinate the review of Quality procedures associated with plant continuous improvement initiatives & company processes according to management systems
• Maintain the Standard Operating Procedure content and coordinate the issuing of these documents
• Collate quality data for monitoring targets
• Assist with training of quality awareness
• Undertake special projects as required
• Quality control of work by appropriate reviews
• Support/lead process/continuous improvement activities
• Manage & monitoring of equipment calibration
• Coordinate with Outsource Management during selection, assessment and approval of subcons for PCBA, Meter & Full turnkey
• Responsible for establishing, controlling/maintaining and improving the subcon quality assurance and development system
• Perform audits on new and existing subcons with the purpose of evaluating the expected quality performance of the subcon
• Involve in New production introduction & Product transfer to Subcon
• Initiate Corrective Action Report management and resolution
• Working with subcon on customer complaint 8D
• Develop and maintain comprehensive procedures and policies to measure and ensure subcon performance
• Monitor key quality metrics (Subcon OTD, and Quality – system, process audit & yield)
• Establish sampling plan & testing criteria during incoming, site inspection or at subcon production

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree in engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years related experience.
• Must be able to analyze data for accuracy and correctly interpret results.
• Experience in ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001, ISO27001, ISO17025, MID-D, LNE, QC80000, IECEx80079.

Job Description

• To continuously plan, organise and perform routine QC analysis of incoming material, in-process and finished process samples in accordance to documented testing methodology. Planning and co-ordination of the workload is required to meet the demands of other departments and the wider business.
• To be responsible for making daily decisions on any QC results, problem solving skills are required to ensure only true results are accepted which could have a minor impact on the business.
• Proactively identify and initiate continuous improvements to products and systems used within QC.
• To carry out short term projects involving non-routine analysis (upto six months). This includes customer complaint investigations which requires problem solving which could be based on vague information, involving multiple departments and knowledge of the site products.
• May be responsible for calibration of equipment and maintenance of the records follwing routine procedures.
• To liaise and communicate daily (both verbal and written) correct results and information to the appropriate departments in a timely manner. Accurate results and attention to detail ensures that the customer receives the correct quality of product to their specification requirements. This minimises the number of quality complaints and claims from the external customers.
• Role holders provide guidance to plant operators when in the laboratory and assume full responsibility of the QC laboratory outside of standard working hours. To work with no supervision outside normal hours.
• Decision making that impacts other departments will be through referral to line managment or shift managers (or equivalent) outside normal hours.
• To supervise and train new members of the department together with providing information and awareness of products and test methods.
• The role requires the job holder to have a good knowledge of site analytical techniques.
