Responsibilities
· Develop and implement supplier quality monitoring systems to ensure materials and components meet quality standards. Identify and address any non-conformance issues with suppliers.
· Collaborate with suppliers to optimize their processes, enhancing yield and ensuring consistent quality of materials and parts.
· Lead efforts to address and resolve abnormal quality issues with suppliers, implementing corrective and preventive actions.
· Conduct supplier audits to assess quality systems, process capabilities, and compliance with industry standards. Drive improvement initiatives based on audit findings.
· Work with suppliers to develop their quality processes, ensuring alignment with company standards and customer expectations.
· Coordinate with design, production, and procurement teams to ensure seamless communication and alignment on quality expectations from suppliers.
· Promote a culture of continuous improvement by working closely with suppliers to enhance their quality management systems and manufacturing processes.
Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree or above.
· Proven experience in supplier quality engineering, particularly in a manufacturing or electronics environment.
· Strong knowledge of supplier quality management systems and standards. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
· Familiarity with supplier audits, corrective actions, and continuous improvement processes.
· Certification in Six Sigma or similar is a plus.
· Willingness to travel extensively and work abroad in China or Vietnam at least 10 months per year.
