• Maintain strict cost control of the Annual Operating Budget for each of the assigned vessels.

• Review monthly cost control and approve monthly financial reports before sending to Fleet Group Manager for review.

• Assimilate input from the assigned vessels as well as other relevant departments and prepare each vessel’s Annual Operating Budget.

• Monitor the requisitions generated from the vessel to ensure that they are submitted in a timely manner. Follow up with the Purchasing Department for delivery of ordered items on board.

• Approve invoices for payment.

• Liaise with the Insurance Manager (or Principals) in H&M claims handling. Provide technical input, and cost information, if required, for P&I claims (cargo and crew) and H&M claims.

Crewing

• Make performance evaluations of Masters/ Chief Engineers assigned to the vessel under supervision.

• Provide input to the Manning Department on recruitment of Senior Officers for the assigned vessels.

Dry Docking & Repairs

• Plan, manage, monitor and execute vessels repairs, dry dockings and conversions within agreed budgets.

• Arrange and follow up repairs and services.

• Coordinate with the assigned vessels and prepare the dry-docking specification in conjunction with Docking Superintendent, Fleet Services. Submit the specification to yards for quotations, evaluate the received quotations and present them to the Fleet Group Manager and/or Chief Operating Officer for review.

• Attend the dry-docking, discuss shipyard invoicing before presenting same to the Fleet Group Manager and/or Chief Operating Officer for approval.

What a Manager – In-house Creator does at Visa:

This position supports the Senior Director, Brand, Creative and Content, in delivering content across media platforms, and with setting the strategic and creative direction of our Brand and key business initiatives [e.g. Ecommerce, Cash Conversion] for Visa AP [B2C] and for Visa’s clients [B2B2C].

Working closely with cross-functional teams [Insights, Brand, Product] and client marketers across AP, this role will lead the development, execution and implementation of engaging, effective, insights-driven content across multiple media channels helping to drive Visa brand preference and create revenue opportunities with clients.

• As an in-house creator, this role will have dual mandates. The first of which is to create content for Visa’s social channels on both a campaign and always on basis. About the Role

The Portfolio Finance Manager plays a key role in finance related matters for PIDG and InfraCo companies in Asia, including its subsidiaries and joint ventures. The candidate will work closely with internal and external stakeholders, in ensuring the completion and accuracy of financial reporting related to day-to-day operations and investment projects, and compliance with the local tax/audit regulatory requirements.

Main Responsibilities

Accounting & Tax:

• Subsidiaries’ Financial Review – Ensure timely and accurate preparation of subsidiaries’ audited financial statements, management accounts and financial reports, and review accounting procedures as necessary.
• Monthly and Quarterly Closing – Review and assist in monthly and quarterly closing of PIDG and InfraCo Asia subsidiaries’ accounts, working closely with outsourced accounting service provider and local project accountants.
• Tax Planning & Compliance – Ensure that PIDG and InfraCo Asia and all related entities are tax compliant. Provide oversight on tax planning, filing and review of assigned entities, and work with external advisors as required.

• Company, Project Accounting & Audit – Liaise with internal team, outsourced and project companies’ accountants, tax service providers and auditors for finance related matters for PIDG and InfraCo Asia group entities incorporated in various mandated countries in Asia.
• Group Consolidation, Audit and Statutory Filing – Assist Finance Manager in charge of group accounts on preparation of group consolidation, financial statements and annual filings for the PIDG and InfraCo Asia group. Assist with the completion of the year-end audit process within PIDG and statutory deadlines with auditors.
• Due Diligence – To lead, perform and share best practices on internal financial due diligence for new investments as and when required. Work with external advisors on tax and commercial due diligence for project investments and divestments and provide support as and when required to the deal team.
• Valuation – Review business valuation models for new project investments and quarterly/annual fair valuation exercises for existing investments as prepared by business leads/project company teams; challenge business and valuation assumptions used in discounted cashflow models (e.g. Forecast, WACC, IRR etc.). To lead and manage auditors’ review of fair valuation during year end audit while working closely with business leads and other finance team members.
• Outsourced Provider Management – Manage outsourced accounting and tax service providers and auditors for Singapore incorporated companies under InfraCo Asia.
• Recharges and Cost Allocation – Support the calculation and basis of recharges and cost allocation to project companies as required.

Oversight of Project Companies - Management & Financial Reporting:

• Project Financial Review – Assist to review project financial reports prepared by the business team/project company teams and provide analysis of expenditure against approved budgets.
• Financial Information – Respond to ad hoc requests for financial information and analysis as required by senior management and shareholders/PIDG.
• Continuous Improvement – Suggest improvements and support the implementation of changes to the monitoring and reporting process. To work with business teams to set up financial and operational dashboards customized for projects/investments to better track investment returns against approved targets.

Audit and Internal Controls:

• Annual Audit Review – Manage annual audit process within PIDG and InfraCo Asia and liaise with external auditors. Monitor financial compliance by projects and support local project finance team on the coordinating/performing of potential audits/internal reviews and other financial matters as required.
• Committee Support – Support the Head of Finance/Finance Manager in reporting to the Audit / Investment Committee and Risk Management Committee or Board, including organizing meetings, preparing papers and minutes.
• Policy development – Support the implementation and documentation of internal controls and procedures for PIDG and InfraCo Asia as required.
• Internal Controls –Perform in-country on-site or off-site/desktop internal control reviews, including documentation of procedures, to make sure the control process is compliant with company and shareholders requirements, and work with business team/project company teams to ensure effective controls are implemented, including managing PIDG and InfraCo Asia’s banking activities.

Payments:

Qualifications and education requirements

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA), with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or other relevant field from a reputable university/credible organization.

Skills and Experience

• At least 8 years of hands-on work experience in relevant finance role (preferably with around 3-4 years in a Big Four accounting firm) in a dynamic and fast paced multinational environment with exposure in the Asia region essential.
• Prior exposure in a finance business partner or advisory role for corporate related investment projects either in a leading or review role e.g. financial and tax due diligence and financial modelling will be highly advantageous.
• Proficiency in IFRS with exposure to consolidation or investment accounting dealing with overseas entities.

Job duties / responsibilities:

Meta is seeking an environmental expert to lead and manage environmental due diligence and environmental permitting for our APAC network (fiber optic cable) infrastructure portfolio. This position will support APAC region network investments and technical program management to oversee and mitigate environmental risks for network projects, and will coordinate with cross-functional teams, including legal, policy and communications. The nature of the projects will include direct investment in subsea and terrestrial projects, as well as supporting network infrastructure partner builds. Comprehensive regional-specific environmental permitting and technical expertise and as well as excellent communication, organizational and program management skills are required for this position.

This position will report directly to the Manager of the Environment & Water Team within the broader Site Development team under the Infra Data Center group. This position is full-time and located in our Singapore office. Travel may be needed approximately 20% of the time to visit sites, as well as attend internal, agency, and stakeholder meetings.

Responsibilities

• Lead and provide strategic direction on environmental permitting and regulatory compliance efforts for network investment and construction efforts in APAC, including Environmental Impact Assessments, and adherence to relevant APAC Directives and UN Directives (International Conventions).
• Understand, communicate, and align these approvals with Meta development timeframes.
• Scope, review findings, and provide direction to consultants and internal teams on environmental conditions and permitting requirements.
• Provide environmental risk management through the network project lifecycle from initial due diligence through execution and operation.
• Identify and evaluate environmental permitting risks and regulatory changes affecting relevant development projects with a focus on network installation.
• Ensure and track adherence to environmental compliance obligations, including those outlined in permits or planning approvals.
• Develop, summarize and communicate environmental obligations across multiple diverse Meta teams, including design, construction, and operations teams.
• Provide environmental expertise to diverse internal teams and coordinate with other teams about relevant issues and requirements, including coordinating with Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) teams where needed.
• Develop training and educational tools regarding environmental goals, compliance and awareness.
• Assist in facilitating the growth of the environmental program within Meta network and Data Centers teams as the company continues to grow and build environmental excellence.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 12+ years professional experience in environmental science, engineering, planning, or other related field.
• Comprehensive professional experience in APAC Environmental Impact Assessments and pre-development efforts.
• Highly skilled in data management and project management platforms.
• Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and coordinate with internal staff and external consultants, vendors and other stakeholders.
• Self-motivator and able to execute and track tasks.
• Ability to work effectively in teams, and establish and maintain cross-functional and positive working relationships.
• Ability to effectively communicate and work with highly confidential information.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed (up to 20%).

Preferred Qualifications
