Job Descriptions:
• Prepare quantity measurement, costing and estimation for both pre- and post- contract administration.
• Check and ensure terms and conditions of project contracts, Letters of Acceptance and Letters of Intent are in order and acceptable before confirmation.
• Prepare budgetary list of awarded projects, source and obtain quotations from suppliers.
• Negotiate the pricing and award to sub-contractors.
• Prepare subcontract documents and agreements
• Prepare evaluation and certification of sub-contractors’ progress payments.
• Prepare and follow up on monthly progress claims.
• Prepare costing and submit quotations to clients for Variation Orders (VO) items.
• Liaise with main contractor on payments and VO confirmations.
• Prepare Final Account for completed projects and obtain management’s approval.
• Follow up with clients on final payments and release of retentions
• Liaise with main contractor on performance bonds.
• Prepare monthly report of payment collection forecast and estimation of payments to sub-contractors.
• Any other tasks as may be assigned from time to time.
• Work with Project Managers on project administration matters, contractual obligation and cost impact for project, etc.
• Assist in the preparation of project submission documents such as - built drawings, operational & maintenance manual, warranties, etc.
Required skills:
- Diploma / Degree in Quantity Surveying / Construction Management / Building Services / M&E Engineering.
- Quantity take-off, Cost Control, Progress Claim, Contract Administration.
- Knowledge in MS Office Applications (Word, Excel & PowerPoint).
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work independently.
