As Legal Counsel, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive legal support as part of the legal services team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Negotiate and draft finance agreements, ensuring they meet business needs and regulatory standards.
• Provide advice and review existing contracts related to international shipping operations.
• Support corporate and commercial projects, particularly those led by senior management, focusing on corporate governance, capital markets, and sustainability initiatives.
• Monitor legal developments across relevant jurisdictions impacting the business, particularly in the Asia-Pacific and Middle East regions.
• Collaborate with various departments, including Finance, IT, HSSE, and HR, to ensure legal compliance and support.

• Execute crisis management responsibilities as necessary.

Qualifications:

• Relevant legal degree and experience in maritime law. Experience as Legal Counsel within a ship owner would be desirable.

Job Scope

• Generate Delivery orders and invoices
• Answering phone calls
• Printing, Sorting, Filling of Delivery Order and Tax invoice
• Mailing of Tax invoice to customers
• Issue Debit and Credit note
• Ordering of office equipment and stationeries such as toner, paper, envelop and etc
• Sending Statement of Accounts to customer every month
• Arrange courier service as and when required
• Prepare invoice and packing list
• Consolidate and submit petty cash summary to accounts every month
