Job Responsibilities:
- Handle and manage reservations process through various communication platforms with pro-active selling and suggestive selling techniques.
- Handle reservation requests and inquiries from guests, corporate and leisure reservations, process reservations and update records in systems.
- Closely monitor competitive pricing and understand the impact of relative pricing decisions on property performance.
- Review, analyse data and prepare reports including daily and monthly reports, arrival checks and reservation pace.
- Compliance to each property standards for Rate Plans, Rate Categories, Market Segments, Profiles and all other PMS/IPS related Revenue Management functionalities.
- Identify and develop soft participations/promotions and strategies.
- Control rooms inventory including allocation and reservations to areas of maximum yield and black-out dates.
- Track and establish pick up trends, occupancy history and market segment development to facilitate forecasting.
- Load and maintain rates in all reservation systems.
- Develop, build good rapport and maintain a high level of communication with all business associates and internal customers.
- Solving of customer complaints, problems and acting as a liaison between the company and its customers to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Work closely with Sales, Front Desk Personnel and other departments, to ensure guest requirements are met.
- Ensure smooth operations of the department and focus on continuous improvement.
- Lead a motivational and cohesive team in a multicultural setting both within the department and with other colleagues.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Management.
Job Requirements:
· Diploma/Degree in Tourism/ Hospitality Management
· Min 5 years relevant experience preferably in hospitality sector
· Good working knowledge of Opera would be advantageous or others PMS
· Good Microsoft Office applications in Word and Excel
· Good communications and interpersonal skills
· Team player with positive work attitude
