Job Scope:

Event Planner (Car Exhibition)
Up to $4000
9am - 6pm, 5 days

Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, and execute car exhibitions and automotive events, from concept development to completion
• Collaborate with car brands, dealerships, sponsors, and partners to ensure smooth event operations and branding alignment
• Coordinate all aspects of the event, including venue selection, vendor management, logistics, registration, and guest relations
• Develop event timelines, budgets, and action plans, ensuring timely delivery of each stage of the event
• Handle all permits, licenses, and insurance required for the event
• Oversee the design and setup of event spaces, including booths, displays, stage areas, and signage
• Manage relationships with external vendors and contractors (e.g., sound, lighting, staging, catering)
• Create marketing and promotional strategies for the event, including social media, advertisements, and press releases
• Ensure smooth event-day operations, including managing staff, coordinating schedules, and resolving any issues that arise
• Conduct post-event evaluations to analyze the event's success, gather feedback, and identify areas for improvement

Requirements:

• Proven experience in event planning, preferably with experience in automotive exhibitions or large-scale trade shows
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and manage multiple events simultaneously
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills to liaise with clients, vendors, and stakeholders
• Ability to work within budgets, negotiate vendor contracts, and maximize event profitability
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills to handle unexpected challenges during events
• Flexibility to work during weekends or evenings when events are held

• Install carpet cleanly by smoothing rough patches in the surface before installation starts
• Secure carpet in place with tacks, staples, tape, or glue, adjusting as needed to accommodate seams in the carpet and doorways where there must be reinforcements
• Maintain safe work practices while meeting strict deadlines
• Measure the area to be carpeted carefully, make sketches as a guideline, and then cut the carpet precisely to fit the unique specifications of the space
• Adjust installation method (tack strips, adhesive, or metal treads) according to the environment and the traffic in the room
• Anticipate the traffic patterns in the room, and plan carpet seams accordingly to avoid premature wear
• Ability to perform physical tasks that may become strenuous
• Communicate your schedule and any unexpected complications with the client in a timely, respectful, and professional manner
• Clean the workspace thoroughly before departing on the last day of the job, including vacuuming, disposing of carpet fragments, and moving furniture back into the space

• Move furniture as needed, taking care not to soil or damage it
