Mount Pleasant Veterinary Group (MPVG) is a business unit of MVH Asia, seeks an experienced Lead Veterinarian to lead its veterinary team.

The Lead Veterinarian manages the clinic/s and ensure the highest quality of veterinary care, exceptional client service, associate engagement and maximum productivity of the veterinary medical team. This position advocates for pets and their quality of life; builds a long term bonding relationship with clients; contributes to the development and maintenance of the human-pet bond; educates clients and hospital associates on all aspects of pet health. The Lead Veterinarian partners with the Practice Manager (if applicable) to operate an effective and productive veterinary medical team, ensure a safe and engaging clinic environment, and improve both the medical quality and business performance of the clinic/s.

The ratio of time spent on leadership duties and practicing veterinarian responsibilities will vary depending on the clinic/s situation; the Lead Veterinarian must use good judgment in prioritizing their duties on any given day, ensuring clinic/s productivity. Profile

We are looking for an experienced software development team lead who has had extensive experience as a full stack software developer and has managed small to medium sized teams while delivering software solutions. The individual should have a proven track record of being a strong individual contributor while being able to mentor and guide other members of the team. The candidate should also have demonstrated the ability to ensure that the team consistently meets timelines that were promised. They should excel in dynamic and demanding environments, adeptly managing various priorities, and balancing them with efficiency and focus. The ideal candidate will be outspoken, a strong communicator, and decisive, with the ability to articulate their ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

This role requires an individual who is technically sound in both front-end and back-end technologies, can be relied upon by the team for advice and guidance, manage a team to be its efficient and effective best, while also contributing as a senior developer. You will have to collaborate with a wide range of stake holders including the product team, the design team, the quality assurance team and the higher management. Must have

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience·
• Team management: Experience in mentoring and managing a team of 2 to 10 developers. 2+ years·
• PHP: Strong expertise in core PHP, capable of building robust and scalable applications. 5+ years of hands-on·
• SQL: Proficient in writing and optimizing SQL queries. Capable of designing databases.·
• Git: Expertise in using Git for version control. Understand branching, merging and collaborative workflows.

Nice to have

• Typescript with ReactJS: Hands on experience of building front-end applications with React & typescript.
• Postgresql: Experience in optimizing queries and designing database for Postgresql
• Containerization: Experience in managing applications that are run using a containerization technology like Docker and orchestration technologies like Kubernetes·

Job Summary:
The SAP Technical Pillar Lead will take ownership of leading the design, development, and delivery of SAP technical solutions, including technical architecture, integration, extensions, and infrastructure. Managing a team of members, consisting of both permanent employees and subcontractors, the role involves mentoring the team, setting quality standards, reviewing deliverables, and ensuring technical excellence. The SAP Technical Pillar Lead will also play a pivotal role in presales activities, leading technical proposals and client engagements.

Responsibilities:

1. Leadership & Team Management: Manage and mentor a team of SAP technical consultants, including both permanent employees and subcontractors.
   Establish and enforce quality standards for deliverables to ensure alignment with best practices.
   Conduct regular work reviews to maintain high technical quality and compliance with project requirements.
   Encourage knowledge-sharing within the team and support continuous professional development through training and mentoring.
   
2. Technical Architecture & SAP Basis Management: Lead the design and delivery of end-to-end technical architectures, covering SAP BTP, CPI, SAP Fiori/UI5, APIs, and OData services.
   Oversee SAP Basis administration, including system setup, configuration, upgrades, performance tuning, and patch management.
   Manage SAP landscape management, including backups, system monitoring, transport management, and security compliance.
   Ensure seamless integration with SAP modules such as SAP SuccessFactors, S/4HANA, Employee Central Payroll (ECP) and IAS/IPS, as well as with external systems.
   
3. Project Delivery & Quality Control: Oversee the successful delivery of technical projects across SAP platforms, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.
   Lead data migration and transformation efforts during new implementations and upgrades.
   Provide technical leadership to troubleshoot and optimize system performance, ensuring stability and availability.
   
4. Governance & Compliance: Define governance frameworks to ensure consistent, compliant technical delivery across all projects.
   Implement monitoring systems to ensure the health, performance, and security of SAP infrastructure.
   
5. Presales & Business Development: Lead presales activities, including technical solutioning, proposal creation, and client presentations.
   Collaborate with sales and business development teams to support bids and identify new business opportunities.
   Engage with clients as a trusted advisor, providing strategic guidance on technical solutions and innovation.
   
6. Vendor & Stakeholder Management: Manage relationships with SAP vendors, partners, and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery and cost efficiency.
   Act as the primary technical point of contact for key client discussions and strategic engagements.

Requirements:

• 15+ years of experience in SAP technologies, with expertise in technical consulting, development, and integration.
• Proven experience leading and mentoring large technical teams (50+ members), including permanent staff and subcontractors.
• Good Understanding with SAP BTP, CPI, Fiori/UI5, ABAP, and OData services.
• Integration experience across SAP SuccessFactors, S/4HANA, Employee Central Payroll (ECP), SAP IAS/IPS and external systems.
• Demonstrated ability in project delivery with a focus on quality control and technical governance.
• Experience with presales and client solutioning, including technical proposals and presentations.
• Knowledge of cloud environments (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP) and performance optimization techniques.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Educational Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• SAP Certifications in relevant areas such as SAP Basis, BTP, CPI, or ABAP are highly desirable.
